WOW. Bought a home recently and thought the engineered wood floors were going to have to be completely replaced - they were as bad of shape as any wood floors I've ever seen. Larson & Sons to the rescue! Worked with Nelson and Addison, so courteous, and extremely knowledgeable! Our refinished floors are beyond recognizable now. Hire these guys you will not be sorry! Oh, and for all their expertise and awesome results, you will pay a very fair price which makes it all that much better!

We recently purchased a nearly 30 year old motor yacht and have been gradually restoring it. We discovered teak parquet floors under the old carpet and wondered if they could be made beautiful. They were scratched, full of holes from carpet staples, cut from carpet install tools, gummed up with adhesive from where hatches bad been duct-taped shut, etc. We knew that Larson & Sons had an excellent reputation but didn't know if they would tackle a boat floor. We contacted them and Addison came out to the yacht (promptly at the appointment time) to look at the project. He asked good questions to make sure he understood what we were looking for, to include any boat-specific concerns. He then made some recommendations as to products and approaches that he felt would best meet the project requirements and our desires. He provided a reasonable quote and told us when they could start. The quote and the start date met our requirements, and the interaction with Addison was very positive and professional and we were very confident about working with Larson & Sons. Start date came, and Addison & Nelson showed up on time and ready to work. They completed the project when they said they would, and cleaned up behind themselves tidily. The floors are gorgeous! We expected them to look good, but they are just beautiful! We couldn't be happier with the finished product, or with our experience with Larson & Sons floors. We would highly recommend them, and would absolutely use them again in the future.

There may not be enough characters allowed here to relay how unbelievably beautiful our floors turned out. I'm going to type until I can't any longer either because there are no more characters allowed, or my hands fall off. You may think I am their mom or something, but I am just a customer whose LUCKY day it was to go online and read all of the stellar reviews and hire them. This is the second job they have done for us. They have one job at a time - YOURS. Your floor is their ONLY priority. They are very easy to work with, they keep you informed every step of the way, they are neat, and more than anything, their work is beyond professional and beyond remarkable. I feel like I should charge admission for people to come and look at our new floor. Really. What an investment in our home. If we live here through retirement, or if we sell and downsize, this floor will be enjoyed, and will add such value to our home. My father always said, "You get what you pay for." The quality and caliber of the wood workmanship are worth every cent and more. Working with Addison and Nelson has been a joy. They learned this skill from their late father who taught them their extraordinary skills, and instilled a sense of pride in the work product they deliver. I really cannot say enough about how much I love our new floor. At this writing, I have seen it for the first time finished, and it is spectacular. We chose 4" white oak with a gloss finish, and now I want all new furniture! Or maybe we should just not put anything on it at all! We just bought our house and had the original wood floors in the house refinished. Larson and sons did an awesome job. It came out amazing and came out better than we would ever had expected. We would recommend them to anybody.

So after years of wanting to refinish hardwood floors hidden under the carpet AND install hardwood floors in other areas I sought the help of Cliff Larson Flooring who was recommended by a friend. WOW, these people are amazing. My floors are just beautiful. I could not believe that they could match 40 year old floors with newly installed ones but they did just that. And, did it very well. What a pleasure dealing with Cliff, Addison and Nelson. Those boys are so polite and trustworthy. I felt extremely comfortable leaving them in my house alone. We just had these guys refinish a hardwood floor for us and it looked great. The wood was a mixture of red and white oak. After they got through with it it was beautiful.

This company is amazing. What a wonderful job they did and the price was even better. I will NEVER.... call anyone else to do or re-do my hardwood floors again. I recently had 500 SF of red oak hardwood flooring installed. I contacted Cliff Larson to bid on the job. He was very helpful with the initial planning of the job and offered advise on all phases of the job. His estimate was very reasonable and I accepted his offer. The results of the job were superior. He was very professional and always kept me updated on where he was, what was next , and when he was going to complete the job. He was always on time and completed the job on schedule. I just recently remodeled my beach townhouse in Destin Florida (Ceilings Refinished, New Furniture, Refinished Hardwood Floors, etc). Cliff Larson and his sons were the most professional contractors I have ever hired regardless of trade (and I have used alot). Cliff explained the process in detail, taking time to explain the different types of finishes, setting a realistic schedule and keeping to it, and came in on budget!! He recommended cleaning products as not to damage the new floors and the type of vaccuum cleaner we should use. The Best Part: THE FLOORS ARE GEORGOUS!!! They look like new - everyone who sees our floors are thoroughly amazed and impressed. Our hardwood floors had taken a beating from all the sand being dragged in from the beach. I didn't think the floors could look this good again. We could not be happier with the floors and Cliff and his boys made the whole process stress free. As for the other contractors we hired - we had to call them back several times to repair or finish things that were not done correctlly or looked bad. They were late finishing and tried to charge me more - pretty typical. I wish all the other contractors could be more like Cliff and Sons! I would not hesitate to recommend Cliff and Sons for any floor project.

Wow, we are so impressed with this company. Being a local Home Builder for over 20 years we have used just about every floor company in the area. But, Larson Floors definetly stands out above the rest. The work and the service were flawless. It is so nice to have a Sub that does what they say. If I was told that they would be there are 7am and finish by Friday then that is exactly what would happen. Unfortunitely this does not happen much in our business so when we find someone who operates this way it is one less thing to worry about.

In addition, they take extra steps to keep the mess caused by sanding wood floors to a minimum. Things like keeping the air conditioning off while sanding, covering the air vents in order to keep it from clogging the system and from blowing the floor dust everywhere. Plus, every day they would completely sweep and clean the job site before they left. You would think that they were working on their own house!!! We love this mentality and this is how we operate our own business making us thrilled that we found a flooring company with the same philosophy.

But, just as important as above is their knowledge and workmanship. I don't believe that anyone knows more about wood flooring than the people at Larson Flooring. The installation and final finish truly rates a 10 out of 10.

I have just had Cliff install a pre-finished wood floor in my house. The job was extremely well done. He is pretty much a perfectionist and it shows in his work. He refinished the many-decades old oak floor we discovered under the carpet in our church and it is just amazing how good it looks. I have seen floors in other people's homes that he has refinished and they all turned out great, as well. Finally, I have a friend who has had him do several floors, and he was quite well pleased with each of them. I would very highly recommend Cliff for any flooring work anyone might need.
