Above and Beyond Towing

Towed my daughters car from a 7 11 that had a legally posted sign that said a car would be towed if it was illegally parked in a handicapped perking space. it was not. they said that it was towed because it was parked there for more then 1 hour. There sign that is not legal states you can park there for 2 hours.

So my car got towed. I won't argue about that since it was kind of my fault. Basically, my car was parked in an apartment complex, and although I was in my designated spot, I did not have the parking sticker on my windshield. Anyways, the next day I call the place and it turns out they charge you $400 ($240 for the towing, $60 for storage, and $100 to get your car back). Absolutely ridiculous. I complain with the man in the phone because according to the manager of the apartments, they charged $100 for one day. After I told them that it was too high of a price, the man told me in the most rude way "the price is $400, if you don't want to pay for it then don't come, we'll just keep your car." and hung up before I could even reply. May I mention that they make you reserve an appointment to retrieve your car? Anyways, fast forward to my appointment. Anyways, I arrive, with my father because he was my ride, and as I was headed to the room to pay, the fee collector/ towing man/ duchebag grabs my father by the chest and pushes him slightly backwards yelling at him and telling him that only the person that is paying can go to the room. Obviously my father got pissed and started swearing at the guy for not allowing him to go inside with me and pushing him. The fee collector continues to push him back and says that he is not scared of my father. My father tells him, "what is your problem, do you want to fight or what?" The man says, I am not scared of you, I will fight you right here if you want." My father agrees and tells my brother, who was at the scene to take out his phone and record. The man then retreats because of this and goes towards me to the room to pay the fee. The part where I payed the fee was the saddest part of it all because of the goddamn price. Once I got in, I took out my duffel bag filled with $400 worth of quarters and a few pennies to throw him off and poured them all on that douchebag of a man's desk. He got irritated, but nonetheless counted them all. 30 mins later, he finished. While I walked towards my car to get it out, the man confronted my father again telling him to move or else he was not going to let me get my car. I was pissed and told him to move his towing truck so I can leave. Once I left, I noticed that the tags on his towing truck were expired. These idiots are ignorant plebs who do not know how to run a business. Hopefully, karma catches up to these guys and they get a ticket for driving with expired tags, or better yet, their business gets closed down for illegal behavior. I called the police that day and told them what happened. Unfortunately, they did not take my case seriously, since it wasn't an "emergency". I hope these guys get driven out of business.

This people has been contract by the apartment management where I live and this is the worse company that you can think off, today is the second time, they actually take a car from me, the first time they took a rental from my assign parking space, they claim that we were parked illegally but not according to Fontana PD, and today they actually tow a much older car from with a temporary permit hanging from the rear view mirror. Apparently getting $300.00 per car is a very good business for someone who is involved in this scam.

Mi esposo se estaciono en donde dice (fire line) me estaba ayudando a bajar mi Bebe de 7 meses De mi carro que lo estacionamos en el garage ni 3 minutos nos tardamos cuando Una grua entro y comenso a cargar el carro de mi esposo... El carro estaba abierto con ventanas y cajuela y les dijimos que mi esposo me estaba ayudando con mi Bebe no les imPorto y asi se llevaron el carro, mi esposo les llamo y ellos mismos le pidieron 350 dolares y que le regresaban el carro queriendo tratar con el fuera de su compania!! Que es lo que tratan de hacer robar su propia compania?? O quisas fue el mismo dueño de esta compania... Que injusticias de la vida pero hay un Dios que todo lo ve!! Y estos muchachos que no entendieron nuestra situacion solo les deceo mucha suerte por que en esta Vida todo pagamos y lo que hicieron no fue legal Dios les bendiga...

They illegally towed are car, then lied about us trying to brake in and had us arrested

I'm in the process of putting a Lawsuit against this company, they took my car from the apartment complex "Summer Meadows" illegally. I spoke to an investigator from the Riverside Police Department & she said I can actually put a civil lawsuit against them, which I am, just so they learn a lesson; that they cant do whatever they want, and they cant go around ripping off people. People please get informed and learn the laws. According to Code C.V.C 22658A, it states that if your parked in a private property and the owner or the agent of the vehicle is present, when the towing company arrives, by law they have to allow you to remove your car from the property and have the opportunity to park it in a "Legal" space.

Like I said previously, I'm in the process of putting a Lawsuit against this illegal, lying, and ripped off company; if anything like this has happened to you please, contact me at (619)240-2499.

Don't ignore the issue, Don't stay quite report this company if they did something Illegal to you too. We need to let them know that just because were citizens, (in my case a student) they can't run all over us. We have rights too, & they have laws which they should be Obeying and following too.
