I have a perfect score for my driver licence for 10 years never got into an accident or pull over. Today I got pull over right outside my house and the police said that my car doesnt have a car insurance. But I paid 6 months Geico. Thats half a year. Geico didnt send in the document to the RMV so now I have $105 ticket and pay $160 at the RMV and now my driver licence score is ruin. The horrible part is that I just have a new born baby, a 2 years old, and just came out of the hospital for 2 surgery. And I have to walk all the way to RMV and police station emotionally. Horrible insurance.
I have been with Geico for well over 8 Years and have never had to use thier their services before, I hit a deer about 2 wks ago and first of all on star was to my rescue not Geico, I was sold extra service to my policy and I trusted them so I did get them, when i hit the deer it was in a different town and they would not tow my car to where I lived and I was told that I also had to get my car fixed there in that town, I had to go get it my self at half way point, and then I towed it to my house and the back bumper was damaged they SD that it's a preexisting damage I would have to file another claim , they SD that I had to file another claim because it wasn't part of me hitting a deer which if i had not hit the deer this would of never happened and I was sent a letter and it SD that they don't have to get parts that are the best they can pay for cheaper parts , plz if u can go else where to get insurance plz plz do, I know that they don't care about what I may have to say but I can sure tell others about my situation and have them not get coverage with this company , in the long run no they are not there for u, honestly I could of lied to them and I didnt,! Thanks Geico for nothing!!!!! I'm a very upset customer, but I really do doubt you care! No star from me but it will not let me post with out putting at least 1!!!!! Imagine that :/
I have done no business with geico till now and it is not going well. My wife was hit in Durham by a driver in a pick-up truck. Driver was not owner or insured party. Police report was made. Geico has not been able to find their own customer. They told us in an e letter to my wife's phone that due to their lack of information they will not be able to pay this claim. Is this why they supposedly have cheaper rates ? Do they actually check on potential customers to see if they really exist ? We feel like we have been defrauded on this claim and will continue to seek out the driver with the help of the Durham Sheriffs Office to find the driver and pursue fraud charges and to get back the money we will have to pay through our more trusted insurance company. We will also contact the Office of the North Carolina Insurance Commisioner.
Horrible experience with the claim processing people. I have filed a complaint against them with the insurance commissioner of Texas. Stay away from this insurance company folks. I have dropped my auto and home insurance (through Travelers) with them and have gone with another company.
very bad claims department adjusters are insulting. They don't care about the person being happy with the repair. they don't want to discuss anything. I had three estimates done they all $700 to $1000 more than geico was willing to pay.Geico is not even my insurance company I was hit by their insured. now I have a busted up car.
