Would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered an entire bedroom set for my son through 1stopbedrooms.com. They offered "White Glove Delivery" with my purchase that included assembly of the furniture and set up in the room of my choice. I received confirmation that AM PM Movers received my furniture on the 24th (May) and they will be contacting me to set up the delivery. The following week a woman called me and asked if I could do the following Monday between 10am-2pm. I told her that I couldn't and it would need to be on a Friday or after 4:30pm. I work full time and can't just take off work. She assured me that we could get something scheduled and she would call me right back after looking at the schedule. I received a call back 4 DAYS LATER to schedule the next Friday June 7th between 2pm-6pm. I agreed that would work fine and scheduled the delivery. On Friday the 7th at 4pm I received a call from the driver stating he was having an issue with his truck and would have to cancel my delivery. He said they could probably fit me in on Saturday so I asked for the number to the office. I was pretty upset because I had spent the morning getting rid of the old furniture in my sons room so he did not have a bed. I called the office at 4:06pm to find out they closed at 4pm. Very convenient that the driver called me right when the office closed. I proceeded to call at least 20 times with the hope someone was still in the office and would answer the phone. I ended up leaving a voicemail stating the situation, my frustration and that I expected a call upon open of business Saturday morning. I also sent an email, sent a Facebook message, sent in a contact form on their website and texted the driver requesting a call to reschedule for Saturday morning. I never received a response to ANY of my attempts to contact this business. Finally today the 10th I call the office number and a gentleman answers the phone. I explained the situation and that I need this delivery scheduled ASAP. He informs me that someone was injured and that is why my delivery was cancelled. He was working on getting it rescheduled and would call me right back. This was 7 hours ago. Still no delivery scheduled.
I am highly dissatisfied with the level of non-existent customer service I have received thus far. I completely understand if someone was injured or if there was an issue with a truck. I want the employees safety to come first always. But just because one employee was injured or one truck broke down does not mean the entire operation shuts down. From everything I can see online this looks to be a pretty large company with multiple trucks. My furniture should have been made a priority on Saturday since the Friday delivery was missed. Now I had to give my son my bed and I slept on the couch (gladly because that's what we do for our kids!) because he doesn't have anything in his room! This is completely unacceptable practices of a company that we are allowing into our homes! If I do not receive my furniture this week I will be contacting 1stopbedrooms to cancel the order or find a different company to deliver my furniture. I do not recommend this company to anyone.
I had a set of mattresses shipped to my parents from a local big box club store that contracts with this company to deliver. We were guaranteed "white glove" delivery, but rest assured, it is anything but that. AM/PM Movers out of Morristown, Tennessee were the most rude and unprofessional people my parents have ever dealt with! Their online reviews are already horrible, and to think that a major department store continues to contract with them to deliver products is downright insane. Both men were extremely rude to my elderly parents, carried mud all through the house, almost tore down a ceiling fan, and nearly ripped the door facings off the wall. Even though my mother asked that they carefully remove the plastic packaging so that she could save it for her old mattress, they purposely ripped it to shreds getting it off the new one. They said they had "7 minutes" to set up the mattress and thus were in a big rush. When my mother asked one of the "men" a question about moving the old mattress, he literally shrugged his shoulders, rolled his eyes, and sighed a loud "SHEW". I should also mention that during a pre-delivery phone call, my mother asked the delivery man a question about the time frame, and he just hung up on her. I have tried to reach this company by phone, and there has been no return call, because they simply DO NOT care. I will continue in my quest to report the outrageousness of these idiots to the product manufacturer and the store where I made the purchase. They should not be allowed to handle anyone's possessions nor should they be allowed to work with the public.
I was worried about my moving as it was 4 bedroom home fully furnished. Well never will I worry again as these guys came in and took over. I was so impressed with there work. They made the move go smooth and could not have had a better move. I believe my movers were Clay Antwan and Steve.
I am very disappointed. They were an hour late beyond their 4 hour window that I was given. They didn't call to say they would be late. When they got my very expensive equipment out of their truck they dropped it in the street and then proceeded to like it didn't happen. Then when they were picking this product up they turned it upside down. They carried it without any care to how much damage they were doing. I don't know if this is they way they do business all the time or not. What I do know is that I would NOT recommend them at all.
