One of our favorite state parks right here in town! Children love the fountains in warm weather with picnic lunch beneath the train trestle which shades the seating area. The adjacent gift shop run by the state park has a great selection of books and maps.
Our favorite park in Nashville. Two separate playgrounds and plenty of workout activities to choose from for adults at the community center.
We love going to Tot Time of Thursday mornings for preschool age kids. It is especially great when it is super hot or cold and you can't play outside. My boys love running around the gym and playing with all the balls and games they bring out.
Such a lovely spot for a hike. You can enjoy a flat, easy path around the lake, or take a more challenging trail in the surrounding hills. It's often busy but everyone is so happy to be enjoying nature. We especially love observing the wildlife. Great place to take our kids.
This is a fantastic place to bring the family. The greenway is mostly flat and well-maintained, which makes it easy to bike. We've taken the kids in the bike trailer multiple times and they always love it.
A beautiful and well designed baseball park. The parking is easy, the food is great and the park is clean!
A great park but the play equipment is spread too far out so that if you have multiple children at different age groups, it is hard to watch everyone. The drainage ditch running thru the park is also a place that kids always want to play in but make it nerve-wracking as parents!
The best park in Nashville! The playground is close together and serves lots of different age groups. The dragon sculpture is a wonderful addition and an icon of Nashville.
A beautiful park with an adjacent farmers market. The landscape and views are lovely and while parking can sometimes be a challenge, the views are great!
A beautiful park that needs some revamping in downtown Nashville. One of the original parks in downtown and while the topography is great, the amenities are lacking.
