I cannot currently afford a trip to England, so my second-best option, I have decided, is a trip to Fleet Street Pub downtown. Like every good English pub, the food is greasy, the beer is plentiful, and the service is shoddy. The prices of well drinks are solid: Approximately $5 for a standard well drink, with more expensive drinks going up to $12.50. The food is just what you would expect; there is grease, there are crisps and "chips," and everything is fried. It is not a Weight Watchers-friendly experience. The best reason to come here is the atmosphere. It is the kind of bar where you can actually hear people speak and hold a genuine conversation. If you are looking to grind against scantily dressed women, this is probably not your place; if you are looking to share a beer with friends while drowning your diet in grease, this is your spot. Fair warning, however: Every time we come here, our service is slow, to say the least. You can almost burn off the greasy food just by the frantic arm waving to get your server over to your table every half hour or so. Don't drink your beer too quickly, or you will be sorely parched by the time you get your next one.
We did some research and decided to reserve our spots with the Pedal Tavern for during the day on our friend's bachelorette weekend. When we arrived, we had to sign liability waivers which we expected. We were given wristbands that gave us some great deals at bars and restaurants around Nashville. Before our scheduled tour, we grabbed lunch at Tin Roof using our wristbands. Our tour guide, Luke, was awesome. Very cool guy. He made sure we always had a cold, full drink and had the perfect playlist the entire ride.We were matched with a family from Canada who had a bunch of extra riders sitting on the back who were not pedaling which definitely made the trip more strenuous. The ride wasn't necessarily "hard" ... but it sure as hell was not easy! SO happy we did it- it was a great bonding experience and lots of fun. My legs DID hurt the next day, though. Not something you could do every weekend.Would recommend to anyone looking for daytime entertainment in Nashville!
Really enjoyed or visit. The fish and chips was the best I've had in a very long time. My husband got the cheddar bacon burger. The prices are very reasonable and the beer selection is good. Our waitress Liz was incredibly nice and took such good care of us. The cleanliness was very good. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 starts is because they forgot the cheddar and bacon on my husband's burger
Saw this place online and wanted to try it. The Dim lit atmosphere I love. The menu is diverse but fill with what sounds like delicious food. I order the Tuna Melt with Tuscan fries. Its delicious! Sandwich originally came with chips but upgraded to fries for $2.50. Reasonably priced. The bartender was nice and so was the hostess.
Their brunch is to-die-for. 2 for 1's and a big selection of both savory and sweet brunch items. But they are also open for dinner as well, the service was great even with our party of 10! We loved the environment and the complimentary valet is a huge plus too!
They offer brewery tours all the time and the tour itself is very low key. There isn't much to see because it's a small brewery, but the staff make it a really fun tour! Also, they have trivia every Thursday night that is really popular! Very fun place to be!
Jackalope is a great local option for beers! Their thunder Ann is a great brew, and the taproom is set up wonderfully. There are many games available to play and there is trivia on certain night. My only complaint is the lack of food options.
Oh… My… Word! I love this place. I have never gotten anything I didn't like. The brussels sprouts are to die for. I'm so glad it is in Bellevue. It offers a unique tastes to spark the taste buds in a community full of chain restaurants!
Cheap drinks, yummy food, awesome people...why not? My boyfriend and I come here several times a week for lunch, and sometimes at night to blow off some steam. I highly recommend this low key Nashville gem!
Santa's Pub is a perfect karaoke venue for those looking for a taste of Nashville! The bar is cash only, but the prices can't be beat. They do allow smoking inside, but they have a large patio as well.
