On a cool Sunday morning as we prepared for church, we woke up to our downstairs toilet over flowing with water. The water was pouring onto the floor and the bathtub was about half full of residual back flow. It was a nasty mess and my attempts to plunge the problem were unsuccessful. I knew I needed a professional, but who could I call on Sunday morning? I thought of a few companies I know that specialize in this type of service and as I began calling down my list all I got was an answering service telling me “all agents are busy at this time”. I finally made it down my list to Roto-Rooter and when I called I got a real person on the phone who took my number and informed me that the plumber on call “Roger” would be calling me soon. Roger did call me and let me know he would be here in about 2 hours. He then called about an hour later and told me he was on the way. Roger was respectful, professional, and knowledgeable about the problem I was having. He immediately got to work and within an hour my problem was solved. Thank you to Roro-Rooter for your immediate service. If I have any more plumbing issues they will be the first on my list of plumbers to call.
Well let me say so far I have not had any issue with this business and they have taken care of my needs as I expected. They are very prompt with there service calls and respectful when they arrive. In the past I used them alot over the years and when my trouble re-appeard I called on them and they came to my rescue right away. The tech new what to do right away when I explain to him my problem and fixed it in a short matter of time . I recommend Roto -Rooter to anyone and I think they want have any regrets with there services. Thank you Roto-Rooter.
Had a main line clogged on a Saturday afternoon. Not too many plumbers available or willing to handle a call during that time but Scott at Roto-Rooter stepped up. Involved some major work but was fixed within an hour. Scott was very conscious about taking the approach that would lead to the least amount of cleanup. Hard working guy. Received a call while at my house and was headed off to help a lady with a water leak at 8PM Saturday night.
I called Roto-Rooter to come check out our slow-draining bathtub. They told us they couldn't give us an estimate over the phone, but we figured how much could it be? The serviceman showed up, shut the bathroom door behind him (I've never seen a plumber do that), and ran his wetvac for about 10 or 15 minutes. The rest of his call was spent sitting in his truck doing who only knows what only to come back and charge us $296.95! To run a wetvac for a few minutes! My husband and I were floored and tried to correct the problem only to discover that Roto-rooter charges a flat fee of $265 plus a shop fee of $31.95. Yet they couldn't give an estimate. Unbelievable. Save your money and shop elsewhere.
URGENT: PLEASE READ..Put our house up for sale and needed work on our gas furnace after our home inspection.Went through AHS, and they send Greenway. Against my better judgement I let them on my property (last time they did work they stepped through my ceiling drywall and it took months to get it fixed..).Window of service was 12:00-5:00 pm.. He called at 5:45 and said he was on his way.. Showed up around 6..Went up in the attic, came back down, got a part.. came back down, said he tried to install a new ignitor but it was a dud.. Have to order a part.. They'll call me..Ok. Well at least my drywall is intact..My family comes home a couple hours later and say they smell gas.. I can't smell it bc I've been inside the house the whole time.. I call Greenway.. the after hours manager tells me to call the gas company bc replacing an ignitor can never, ever, ever, ever (30 years experience), cause a gas leak.. we go back and forth over it.. he washes his hands of it.. not his problem.Gas company comes out and finds a union in the main gas line that the Greenway tech loosened and then failed to tighten back up. Filled the house up with gas.. could have easily killed me.Do NOT let Greenway on your property. Your family is too valuable.
They replaced my package unit with a Trane XR16 and it works Great! They were professional and the best price out of 4 companies.
The ratings should have a ZERO when dealing with this specific company. I have owned many homes in the last 24+ years and have had encounters with HVAC companies throughout that time but this has to be by far the worst company in history. Forget HVAC, these people business practice is horrific as they lie, cheat, and never return phone calls when it's 90 degrees out side and you have been waiting for a new AC for 3 months. The warranty company used them as vendor and in the last few years they started a attic fire, flooded my spare bedroom, and have a practice to sell you over priced R22 freon for $105 a pound when it cost the industry $22, and then they blame it on the government that they have a 75% mark up on the gas. Lies!!! The employees Kimberly, Maureen, and Keith are all liars and all businesses should care what the public thinks of them and as you can read on these threads the only comments that are positive are the ones they pay for. smh luckily I'm dealing with a new company and finally getting my new AC. I've been in TN 7 years now. Used AHS as my warranty co and they sent out the worst of the worst for repairs. I complained and they sent out Greenway. They were efficient, proficient and caring. A pleasure to deal with for HVAC and Appliances. Until, I had a plumbing problem. My outside hose bibb was leaking. They came quickly and plugged it up but then no word for two months. After several calls, someone came out and put the handle back on. I didn't use it for a while, but when I did... It was leaking like crazy. Calls to customer service have gone unanswered(?) My first bad experience with an otherwise good company. Maybe they just suck at plumbing?
Greenway is horrible! Missing appt times not calling. Customer Services is poor. Always and excuse. It is always the customer fault. I been have issues with them for 3 months for a Dishwasher and Wash Machine Pump. I don't recommend this company at all! If it was legal I would record them on the phone and their technicians.
