I am a repeat customer because of the help Walker Lumber gave in establishing our school garden. They offered hard-to-find cedar boards for raised beds which were thicker and better than what was available at big box stores. They also deliver!
Small store but seems to have the basics. One of the only places to buy Benjamin Moore paint in town. Staff is very helpful and service was quick.
We were looking for some small thickness plywood to refinish a couple of chair seats. Not a big deal, but the young man (I'm sorry I didn't get his name) who helped us knew exactly what we needed and took us back to the saw shop to find a piece that would work. He found a piece that was what we were looking for and then asked if we needed it cut (we didn't). He then proceeded to shake my hand and say "no charge." WOW! What service! You won't find that in any big box store. Walkers is the BEST!
