I had several previous disastrous back surgeries. Dr Babat was the first person to really listen to my problem, then figure out how to solve it. I couldn't stand up straight before I saw him. He fixed my back, and saved my life!

I went to this doctor for specific pain in my upper back. I carried xrays & radiology reports from 6 months prior. You first have to see his "assistant" (when you arrive) and he put me through a grueling and painful exam & he hurt me so bad I was crying & begging for him to stop pushing on my feet because it was causing terrible pain in my back. Then his assistant got mad because I made him stop and said "We're done here" and walked out. then Dr Babet ordered an exray of my lower back without telling me it was for the "lumbar". I came to him for my upper back pain because I already knew I had lower back problems & the upper back was a new thing for me. After the exray Dr. Babet came in & said "there's nothing I can do for your upper back because it's "JUST ARTHRITIS". When I tried to explain about what happened with me & his assistant, he flipped it off by saying "I heard the whole conversation and there's no way that exam could cause pain in your upper back. But he also said "There's something I can do for your lower back". I was totally confused...I went to him for upper back problems & he wanted to operate on my lower back. I was already aware of my lower back problems and had already had surgery there and it was a failure. It actually had made my back worse. He would not even take the time to discuss it with me or explain what JUST ARTHRITIS meant or how I should deal with it. I feel sorry for anybody who has to be his patient.
