I highly recommend American Autocare on Nolenville rd. In Nashville TN. This business is defiantly for the people. I went in not knowing exactly what's wrong with my vehicle, and prepared for worse case scenario...... My issues was thoroughly explained and solutions were provided. I was more then satisfied to say the least. I didn't feel like misled and was assisted in a very timely fashion. I would love to say much more, what I will say is next time I have a problem I will not hesitate to take my vehicles in for autocare. I highly highly highly recommend American Autocare to everyone for all autocare needs...... I Hope all associates at American Autocare see this message and know fully I appreciate you as well as many others. I know my family is back on the road and safe yet again thanks to you!!@ Thank you

I took my car to this place because my moms husband told me about it . Its across the street from Bank of America and CVS Pharmacy on Nolensville Pk. I have a Pontiac Trans Am that I take very good care of. My check engine light came on and Autozone said That only the dealer could check the Evap System that showed a Very Small Leak.

When I got to the shop I was Greeted by a Super Nice guy Named Johnny. They took my car in right away and did a smoke test to try and find the leak. About 30 minutes into it Johnny came in the office and asked me to step out into the garage. He showed me the leak, it was only a small hose with a crack in it back by my gas tank.

They only charged a few dollars for the hose and didnt even charge me to put it on.

I would have gladly paid a lot more for what they did. I loved my experience here and I will return here for future problems for sure. I hope this helps someone looking for a great repair garage. George100

Best Mechanic Shop in Nashville!!!



I am one of those people that has always taken my cars to the dealer as to get the "exact" parts and service needed. After my car's warranties expired, I was tired of paying exorbant prices on parts and labor...especially when I felt I was always getting upsold to do other services that weren't needed.



I was driving all the way back to East TN and having a longtime friend of the family do all my needed repairs, but I happened to get referred to American Autocare by a friend here in Nashville. I tried them out and I am happy I did.



They have replaced both sets (front and rear) on both of my cars and replaced an AC compressor in one of them. Each time I go there, the owner always details exactly what he plans on doing, gives me a price for labor upfront and sticks to it, and also works with me on parts. For each repair he has done, he has allowed me to shop around for parts and buy them on my own.



I am about to have some more work done and am comfortable that he will do it right, honest, in a timely manner, and will communicate with me the whole way.



Quit taking your car to other places with the worry that you can't trust your mechnica, give American Autocare a try and you'll know what I am talking about.

I Agree with this shop standing out. I had a Check engine light on, It was a Evaporative Code. Firestone replaced my gas cap twice . The light kept coming back . I diddnt know where to go Autozone also told me gas cap, But they recomended Me to go to American Autocare I Did. These Guys are such nice People, They told me That they needed to do a Smoke test , I let them, They found a small hole in a rubber evap line under the car they even Took me out and showed me. Long story short after they did the repairs the check engine light stayed out, I passed Marta and got my tags. I wont say How much But I can tell you It was a wonderful Price. I WILL ALSO BE BACK TO THIS PLACE I Prob will never go anywhere else

Ive Been to lots of Auto repair shops in & around Nashville, Some are Good And some are not But this one Stands out way above them all in my Opinion. I have a Toyota and they fixed it Fast & Cheap For way less money than anyother place But the main thing is , The Owner is always there, Him and his Son run the place and they are the MOST FREINDLY people you will meet. I was surprized they fixed my car and we stood and talked for a few minutes. I know Ill be going back to this place for my further car repair, I never write or do comments on places but I really felt like i should tell someone about this place.
