This restaurant epitomizes the stereotype of "You only get the best Chinese food in sketchy strip malls." China Spring doesn't look like much, until you walk inside; then it still doesn't look like much, but with a large fish tank. Appearances can be deceiving though; for all that this restaurant looks as though it probably slaughters its own chickens in the back, the food is DELICIOUS. The steamed wontons are some of the best I have ever had, and I have never had a bad experience with their sweet and sour chicken. Prices are fantastic; if I can get two meals worth of food for $7.50, why ever cook for myself again? The food is so cheap that it almost concerns me: What are they actually putting in this stuff, other than essence of pure delicious?
We were sad to see Lucky Belly go, but were pleased when we looked at the menu of Ru San's and realized they incorporated the Lucky Belly into it. Burgers and spiked milkshakes and Ru San's extensive selection of Japanese standards! When we went, service was slow, which is always a bummer. We were also surprised that they changed the decor and made it just sort of bland. I wouldn't make a special trip here, but if you're in the neighborhood and need a burger or sushi (or both!) this is a great option. Oh, one more thing, they have an upstairs karaoke lounge that you can rent for like $200 in food and drinks. We had a party here when it was Lucky Belly and it was a blast!
We have been going to Athens for the past 8 years. What started as late night visits after the bars closed has turned into family breakfasts on the weekends. One of the most robust menus in the area with consistent quality on all items. Of course the traditional Greek dishes are the best. My standards are the Greek salad with grilled chicken or the Gyro sandwich and fries. Huge portions and affordable pricing. It can get busy on the weekends but the tables tend to turn fairly quickly. I love this restaurant appeals to so many. Many of the employees have been there for a long time and really make you feel welcomed when returning. Great option for carry out too!
This wonderful venue is just off Music Row. Don't let the "off Broadway" location lead you to believe this isn't a first class venue. The Listening Room is just that, a place for song writers to perform & for us to listen. These writers are the ones who are writing the hits the big names perform! The talent is off the charts :)The food is homestyle southern cooking. I HIGHLY recommend the pork steak with mac & cheese or the shrimp & grits. Both were awesome! The care with the food and the quality of service put the cherry on top of this great experience. Visited December 2015
The 1st time I ever had Chinese food in Nashville, it was here. It was so good, the inside of the establishment looks a little shabby, which made me a little skeptical, they also gave me my food order inside of a little box (the kind that can goods are in at the grocery store) LOL, so I could carry my large order out with ease, but hey as long as they continue to cook the food the same and keep the same prices on the menu I could care less about the interior design. Keep up the good work guys. Your food is FANTASTIC!
We have been placing delivery orders here for at least 15 years. The food is always good but what I really love now is their online ordering. I placed an order online at 4:30 for delivery at 6. Promptly-and I mean right at 6- the guy was at my door with our order and everything was hot and just as ordered. Prices are reasonable and my family loves the food.
This is a great little place to get a quick bite of Chinese. Items are always freshly prepared and you customize it to your liking. Cooks are quick and you never have to "guess" what it is you're eating, as everything is cooked properly and not some scraps they threw together from the back. Highly recommend this place if you have a chinese food craving!
Puckett's is a fun place that has good food!!! Try the Black Cat! We went during lunch...many people waiting but got seated quickly! The sandwiches were great!!! The prices were great!! Already recommened Puckett's to someone who was visiting Nashville. They called from Puckett's to thank us for the recommendation!
I was supposed to attend a concert here during "Snowmaggedon 2016"...I don't drive in snow, so I figured I was just out money...but I was happily shocked that the show is rescheduled and my ticket is still good! I will go in a few weeks...more then, but already a good sign that I will return there many times!
The dinner buffet is $9.50 incl tax. The food is okay, there are not a lot options. There is no Hibachi, crab legs are a side order $7.95/lb. Sushi shuts down at 7pm (it is good). It's a tiny restaurant, the staff is friendly. Overall it's a nice place to go for a first date, but not for a family.
