What a story... I started my search for an alteration company by researching alteration places in Nashville. After going to 3 other places with my wedding dress (they told me it was too complicated, one was going to charge me $700, the other was rude to me, etc), I literally was in tears because I didn't know where I was going to get it altered for a good price by a good person....that was until I randomly drove past Fashion Alterations. I pulled over after seeing a wedding dress in the window and briefly looking them up online. They got great reviews so I went in. I was greeted by the sweetest lady I have ever met - Houri. I officially love her. It's like my mom was there helping me! She was so nice and sweet and immediately helped me with my alterations. I told her my story of how I couldn't find a place and she immediately made me feel more comfortable. She has 2 daughters so she really cares for people. She took the time to ask me how I was feeling, make sure my dressed was pinned up to my liking and even hugged me when I needed it. I got my dress back and it fit PERFECT. She even was able to do the bussell for my wedding dress in a matter of hours so I could have on time for my pictures. The best part was that she explained her pricing and it was exactly what I budgeted for - not $700 like the other places I had gone too. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FASHION Alterations and Houri. She is amazing at what she does, she cares for you -the customer and their prices are amazing. I will not be going anywhere else.
I found some really good deals however, the people that live near it take advantages of the shoppers. Within the first 5 minutes a lady came up and tried to get me to give her $2.00 - said her kids were starving! Then I had some pervert rub up against me. Both of this people (they were not together) walked away from the store, with no merchandise. I was from out of state so I feel like they are scoping out people that they can catch off guard. The store itself was pretty good and the staff was great.

Have had good luck consigning there in the past, However, when I called several hours in advance to notify that I would be unable to get off work in time to make my last appointment the woman responded with 'oh, that's just perfect'. She was very irritated and didn't offer me to reschedule. I wont be trying to do so. But they're doing something right I guess because it has always taken 6 - 8 weeks to get an appointment.
Just walking in the store makes me smile. The trendy gift ideas and quirky decor are ultra original. If you are faint of heart or super uptight, please go to the mall instead. This place offers service with a large side of satire. Love it! By the way, one of the owners has a smiling dog. Yes, the dog smiles at you. What's not to love about a place with products and a pup that make you smile?

Clearing House Consignment has ALWAYS delivered exceptional quality and excellent customer service. I was interested in a unique coffee table and was encouraged to take it home on approval. It was perfect and I'm so glad I tried it out first. This shop has the best looking consignment pieces that are fairly priced. I highly recommend!
Love shopping in this store. I usually can get lots of clothes for teaching here, including basic collared shirts, pants and blazers. In addition, I can buy nice personal clothes, all for a pretty cheap price. One problem I have is that their sizes are unrealistic and a lot smaller (my usually 2 is a 6 in there).
What do they have other than coats? Surprisingly good selection of children's toys and clothing here. Prices on shoes seemed high. Many choices on men's suit separates and larger sizes for both men and women. Tons of scarves, hats, jewelry. Some linens and housewares similar to what you'd find at TJ Maxx.
If you like women's consignment stores, you'll love Designer Renaissance! The quality of their clothing is top notch and in addition to the clothing, they have a great selection of shoes, handbags and other accessories. The store is easy to find and the owner and her staff will treat you well.
