I went here for dinner on a Friday night with a large group of over 20 people. They don't take reservations and don't really have any large tables but the staff still did a wonderful job accommodating our group. They had to split us up but they were still very friendly and didn't seem as frazzled by our large group request as others have been in the past. The atmosphere is nice and open and clean. Sometimes in bar heavy areas, it's easy to neglect the food but not so here. This is more restaurant than bar. It looks like the type of place that would have burgers but it's actually Cajun. I wasn't expecting a good dinner but my Shrimp Po Boy was really good. The shrimp was fried just right and the sauce was great. Be warned, the fries are really spicy (I guess coming from the Cajun influence). The menu might say they're spicy but I wasn't paying attention, I assumed they'd be standard bar fries. Overall, it was a good experience and I was pleasantly surprised by the food.
Ironically, I chose this spot and I am not a spicy food eater. However, thank goodness I ventured out of my comfort zone because they will make it …
Wow! The food...the sweet tea...the space, all delightful to the senses. The menu rotates daily, from ingredients that they can get fresh. They have a small herb garden outside that they grow. The sweet tea was too good and the service was on point. I would not be shy to visit this place again.
Great red beans and stuffed pork chops! Don't look at the building though! Owners son was the only sub par service we've had there.
Come with a group, the atmosphere is amazing and the food is so high quality. Great to bring out of towners here too.
This is conveniently located in the food court. It is very reasonably priced and you get plenty of food
