My mother has shopped at this Kroger for over 30 years. She knew where everything was located and most of the employees well. Now that the renovation is complete of the Hwy 70 store, she does not like to shop there at all. The store is too massive now. The layout is more difficult to maneuver. And even though the idea of carrying more brands and more exclusive brands sounds good in theory .. the store now has less shelf space per brand. When 15 of an item used to be in the shelf, now there is maybe 5 of an item so the store tends to stay out of stock on key items. This location had a high population of elderly shoppers. The size and layout of the store is overwhelming for them now. The parking lot redo is ridiculous! Parking is more scarce than ever now. She doesn't recognize most of the employees now. My mother however and some of her friends are going to shop elsewhere. She is closer to a Publix and the renovation has pushed her toward shopping there. I myself have been in the Hwy 70 location a couple of times since the reno and I too feel overwhelmed! I do not like the new store at all. The last time I went in, I was attacked on the head by a bird. Very different atmosphere than when it seemed like a neighborhood grocery. Now it seems like a big, cold warehouse almost. Not impressed. The only saving grace was the employees were friendly and tried to be helpful but even they didn't know where things were.
This newly remodeled Kroger has a wonderful variety of foods and non-edibles. I particularly like the organic foods located between the bakery and bread section, and it is nice to be able to buy some natural foods in bulk. The staff is consistently helpful and friendly. The store's layout is not particularly customer friendly. It takes me twice as long to shop now because of the relocation of items and the inconvenience of having to circle around the massive produce, cheese, deli, and bakery areas. I also find it in poor taste to have to walk through the adult beverage aisle to get to the loaves of bread. I also think of how difficult it is for people in a hurry to transverse from one end of the store to the other for bread and milk, but I know that is part of the game consumers must play in supermarkets. The availability of parking seems to have improved, but it can be very dangerous trying to enter or exit from both Old Hickory Blvd. and Highway 70. I give this Kroger a 3-star rating due to overall inconvenience.
This is a middle of the road Kroger that is great mainly for it's convenience and proximity to everything else in the Bellevue area. The positives are cleanliness, the fact that it's one of the Kroger stores that sells Christie cookies, and that it now has Clicklist. They also have a friendly staff in the specialized sections like deli, bakery, and meat. On the other end, the chocolate chip Christie cookies are often out of stock (not their fault, but still irritating) and sale items also go out of stock quickly. The store layout is a little off as well; it's a bit disconcerting compared to most other Krogers. The parking lot is a nightmare and sometimes I won't go just because it's a bit stressful to just park. All in all, some positives and some negatives. Just your run of the mill busy neighborhood Kroger.
Compared to the Inglewood Kroger I feel like this Kroger is about a five out of 10, if the angle and Kroger is a 10 out of 10. I've been there in the morning's and had to wait for someone to come and open the doors, which was not a great situation because I really needed to get some things to bring to work, and I work really early! It's very frustrating to arrive at a business as big as Kroger and see the unprofessionalism that occurs there. Hope the lines are always very long at the checkout and they never have all of the checkout stations fully staffed with people, despite the fact that they are busy. The positive thing about this Kroger, is that it seems like they are just now starting to respond to the needs of the community around them, by stocking more organic foods and remodeling
This is been a really good Kroger for us to go to, despite the fact that it is incredibly busy it seems like all the time. The only times I really ever go are in the evenings between 5 and 10 PM and on the weekends between noon and 6 PM which are probably the most frequent times for people to go. I like their selection and The shelves are always stocked with the products that I need, again, they seem to stay incredibly busy but everything is always neat and tidy Ann there when I want it. I love the deli and the courteous staff there, and when it's Girl Scout cookie season, our troop loves to sell cookies here, because the manager is so kind to let us sell in the breezeway .this prevents us from getting frozen today outside or rained on or any other undesirable exposure to the elements!
I brought my daughter to the Apple Store on October 3rd because she were having problems with updating her IPhone. We waited an hour before we got seen. We were told it'll take 45min. On the contrary when we did get assistance, Daniel was very courteous and polite he showed excellent customer service skills!! I would've gave it a 5star but the waiting was ridiculous. Overall the service made it worthwhile.
There is a Kroger right across the street from where I live but I rather shop at this one because there is a wider selection of organic products, the employees are very friendly and even the customers are very warm to one another. When I shop here it feels like I am at a publix because everyone is clean and professional and the store itself is very clean and organized unlike other Kroger's in the area.
Kroger is a good place u could buy all the food you can think about in that store.they even give out samples of food and candy.but me and my sister love ❤ their cookies we always eat them everytime we walk into that store we think about them cookies and we don't have to look other food stores because the got everything you need in the store I just want to tell you its a great place to shop at
I shop at Both Costco locations here in Nashville but this one hands down is my favorite because the layout is done better and it doesn't give me an overwhelming feeling when I enter the store. It also doesn't get as packed on any day like it does at the Brentwood location everyday. I can easily shop for things without having to battle for parking, carts, and walking space through the store
This location had a nice remodel a year or so ago. Since then the staff has been fantastic. They are kind, courteous, and most of all helpful. I see managers out on the floor doing whatever needs to be done. Everyone is friendly! My dissatisfaction is that the store is too small for East Nashville. With so many people moving to the East side, we need more grocery space!!!!
