A great place to buy/sell used books. Lines can get long (especially if you are selling) so try to go during non peak times.
This independent bookstore in Green Hills is a favorite destination for my kids. They always get to pick out a paperback book, and they enjoy playing with the train table and sometimes staying for story time. The store keeps getting bigger, which hasn't necessarily meant more books, but rather more spots for gathering and more gifts for sale. I'm a member of their First Editions Club, which I highly recommend. They mail you a handpicked new release every month.
Love this local bookstore. The community events are great! Love being able to meet a favorite author.
This is one of the best, if not the best, used bookstore in Nashville. The selection is massive - and not only books, but other media including video, audio, and even video games. It takes some hunting around, but the treasures you will find in here are second to none. Great to sell used books as well.
Looking for a book for your children's summer reading, school reading lists, self help books or any type of book you are looking for. Go to McKays Used Books where you can find books, music, cds, games, etc for anywhere from 60%-80% off the prices you pay. You can also sell your items to them as well for cash or store credit. Check them out before you buy a new book and save a little cash. The only thing I don't pick up the phone to tell you whats in stock. You just have to go and shop in person. But the store is well organized into categories.
The best bookstore in Nashville by far. I could spend a whole day here enjoying their beautiful store and enjoying their recommendations. They have a fabulous children's area as well.
If you are looking for books for your childrens Summer reading or school reading list and want to save money go by Bookman-Bookwoman. They carry just about every book there is. Just call them and their staff knows each and every book in the store. You will save about 60%-70% off your books.
McKay's is a great place to shop for bargain or hard to find books. You never know what you might stumble across on the shelves!
This place is huge. They have books, movies, music, games, etc. You can get cash or store credit for your used stuff too.
Go to McKay's for you book needs. They have a great selection and the new facility is amazing. We used to shop at McKays when they had the first little shop on Charlotte.
