BEWARE IF INSTALLATION IS NEEDED!
My husbands parents got him a remote car starter for Xmas. The man that sold it to my in-laws told them that it had to be installed at that location. It was a little inconvenient for us living a good 40 mins away but my in-laws so kindly followed us in there car (both trips), allowing us to leave our car at best buy for the afternoon. They do not take reservations, it is on a first come, first serve basis. It was suggested to show up 1 hour before the service dept was to open. The first time we attempted to have it installed we were out of luck b/c they can only service 5 cars per day. We were told to get there earlier next time. The next day we could go was Sunday. I called Saturday to confirm what time they opened on Sundays. The young man who answered the phone gave me the wrong time, I had a feeling it was wrong so my husband confirmed that it was indeed the wrong time.
We arrived an hour and 15mins before the service dept opened as instructed. The service door was answered and we were told that they were booked solid because customers from the day before had decided to leave their cars over night and if we wanted to leave our car, they could get to it in a couple days. We were also told that we can have it installed at any Best Buy! We are not hard people to please but the staff at this location missed so many opportunities to provide customer service that is very disappointing seeing there are so many people who don't have jobs. The lack of communication among their employees is pathetic! There is no excuse for someone answering the phone to not know the hours of operation. Let's be honest, is that not the first thing you learn at any job? If this was my gift to my husband, I would have returned it and went next door to Circuit City.
