What an awesome place! Set back from the housing areas along a stream. Excellent staff!!!! Just ask and they'll help you with anything from buying, feel of any weapon, training (which is very fairly priced) I was totally impressed!!

I don't understand why this place only has 2.5 stars on here...I love this gun shop! Great, friendly, and family owned. The atmosphere is wonderful. It's also very clean and orgnaized well too. The staff is very informing and answered every question I asked with knowledge and confidence. I HIGHLY recommend this store out of all the gun shops in the Naples/Fort Myers area.
I just recently moved to Naples from North Carolina and was looking for a new place to spend my time. After researching local gun shops, and visiting a few - Wayne Berquists was the best of them. The staff was great and very helpful. It was nice to find a family run business. My dad owned a drug store when I was a kid and my whole family worked there. It's great to work with family, and it's something that's hard to find anymore.
Have spent ALOT of money at Wayne's... Staff always knowledgable and courteous! Brett has been always awesome! He steers me in the right direction with his expertise. Never any buyer's remorse. Wayne has a great team... I have sent countless folks to meet Brett at Wayne's... he has helped every single one of them and I know that they are all now repeat customers!.... Glad the Gun Shop is here!
A local family owned business that has done exceptional work on my 1911 pistols and AR platform rifles. The gunsmith Brett has always taken time to help me with all of my questions and customizing firearms I've purchased from them. I can't say enough about the staff- Wayne, Kathie, Michael, Melanie and Marty who makes the first timegun buyer feel at home right up to the seasoned law enforcement officers that frequent the shop. After spending $1000 at Bergquist Guns on a new revolver, ammo, goggles, cleaning kit, etc...I booked a shooting lesson with the salesman who was actually very nice. Once at the range my brand new revolver kept jamming after around 7 shots. My instructor/salesman told me to bring the brand new gun back to the shop and show it to Brett who would be able to quickly figure out what was wrong with this new gun they sold me. I went in the next day, met my salesman who told me to wait just a minute for Brett who was joking around with another customer. The shop is small and Brett could both see me waiting AND hear his salesman tell me it would just be a minute. Well, twenty five minutes later I asked the salesman if he could find out how long it was going to be. He walked about ten feet to ask Brett who immediately said, without even looking at me, "I don't have time to look at his gun." Really? No time to look at the defective gun you sold this customer for $650 a few days before? But he has time to stand there joking around with other customers. I wasn't happy obviously but left the gun and was told by my salesman Brett would look at it later and they would call me in the next 24 hours to tell me what they found and give it back to me fixed or send it out to the manufacturer. Well three days later I hadn't heard from anyone so I called them. When I spoke with Brett and he said "I've got 20 guns in front of yours, I haven't even taken it out of the case yet." Great way to treat a customer who's already been screwed by your store. He acted like he was doing me a favor by even picking up the phone. Well, I went down right away and picked up my gun to take it elsewhere. I will NEVER purchase anything from this store again and have been happy to tell my story to all the customers I meet at Bass Pro Shops or Shoot Straight and other gun stores in the area. I purchased 4 more guns since this incident, that's about $2000 that didn't go into Brett's arrogant little hands.
