We had just moved to the area recently and were in need top notch care for our often mischievous and misleading sweetheart-faced Aussie-mix named Samson. I couldn't have come across a more wonderful and perfect veterinary clinic. We have been to many different vets since adopting our wild child but I have never felt more at home than I have at Appleby Sand Road Clinic. Everyone was so kind and made both Samson and I feel immediately welcomed. Samson seemed to warm up quickly to everyone and was soon comfortably sleeping on the floor of the room like he was right at home. We were taken such great care of and given such great information on Samson's care, I am so glad to have found this clinic and I know Samson will be excited to see everyone on his next visit!

I have been taking my dog, and other dogs I have come across, to Appleby Sand Rd. Animal Clinic since I was 18 and got my first puppy in 2008. Dr. Lott and every one of his staff members have been extremely helpful, respectful, and friendly. Dr. Lott takes the time to meet and discuss everything with me every time I bring my dogs in. They have been very flexible with me and accepted every dog I've brought them. I've even brought in parvo puppies who made it because of their efforts. They've let me bring my dogs in on very short notice. They send reminders in the mail for updating shots, etc. I've never been disappointed in their service. They have taken very good care of my pets over the past 7 years and I really appreciate everything they do.

Dr. Lott and his staff go over and above to take care of my Maggie (bichon). Dr. Lott is a gentle soul and takes time with me until I understand whatever is needed for Maggie. He has helped 2 of my dogs cross over the Rainbow Bridge in the past 5 years. I highly recommend. Paula J.

I got a four month old puppy from a lady who was not taking good care of her at all. I took her to Dr. Lott who was an absolute joy to deal with. He loved on my puppy so much and made her feel comfortable while he gave her the shots. I also left with free dog food and a lamb-chop toy for her! (Which has lead to her obsession with lamb-chop toys, she'll only play with them!) With that, he was also extremely affordable. To top it off, recently my came in contact with fleas and despite preemptive measures to keep them off her, she still got them. I called them and they told me to come in and they would have Capstar ready for me, it was cheaper than any methods from the pet store and worked immediately. They also suggested that I bring my dog in for check up in about a week or so to make sure she's 100% flea-free and didn't catch anything from it! I am so, so happy with Dr. Lott and his staff.

I will say that Dr. Lott can be a very useful vet. My girlfriend takes her dog there and they seem to have no problems at all. I have also heard stories from close friends that Dr. Lott has saved there animals from diseases such as parvo. However, I went to Dr. Lott with my new puppy who was sick with distemper. After Lott diagnosed my dog with the disease, he said he would follow up with information about possible treatment if any, as well as a way to take care of my dog if anything had to happen. However, even after my attempts to contact him again over the next week or so, I did not hear anything back. Thankfully, my dog somehow survived the disease and is fine now. However, Dr. Lott left me without any information on how to help my dog combat the disease. Maybe he didn't take me as serious as he does some of his other clients due to me being a college student, but I paid all my bills up front and gave him no reason to think that I was not good business for him. So, Dr. Lott can be a good vet, my personal experience however tells differently.
