They give estimates for free,while you wait! They never go over the estimate and if they make a mistake they ask permission to continue. They also sell machines and offer a large selection that meets or beats the internet. Most important they offer helpful information on their products.
My husband and I took our 20 year old rainbow cannister vacuum to be repaired as it was smoking. A young man assisted us at the store(later I found out he was the store owners son) the young man told us we probably needed a new motor for the vacuum but while we were there the vacuum failed to smoke so he suggested I take it home and see if it would work. While we were there he checked the model number of the vacuum and told us the motor would cost $150 + tax and the total bill for labor and motor would be $219.00. Because it would take about 1 hour to repair.We said fine. We took the vacuum home and the same smoking happened so 2 days later I took the va hum back to the store and another man helped me, The owner ,father of the young man. He told me to fix the vacuum it would cost over $500 I said I was already quoted a price by the young man of $219 . He said oh that was my son he made a mistake. He refused to stand by the quote that was given to me. And proceeded to try to sell me another vacuum that I didn't want.I'll never go back or recommend this store .Awful people!
I took a CE-200 sewing machine to him to be repaired. While I was in the store I looked at some of the other machines there. The repair guy called me a few days later and told me he had bad news for my sewing machine, that it could not be repaired. I told him I would be in to pay him and pick it up the next day, which I did. He was gentlemanly enough to carry the box of what I thought was my intact sewing machine to the car. It had been intact when I took it to him. When I got it out of my car and started to take it out of the box, it was in pieces. with the hoop and some other things missing. To this day I'm missing the bottom plate of the machine, the bobbin holder that was in the machine, and the needle plate. As I was working on a project that needed to be finished, I purchased a new machine from Amazon. He was upset that I had purchased a machine from someone other than him, and told me that it was not too late to return it and buy from him. I'm so done with that place.
We had a representative come to home and sell us a Kirby Avalir. We love it! It will clean every type of floor we have. Thank you for coming to our home and showing us what filth we were living in. I would recommend this sweeper for anyone that truly wants to be clean. We were living in a fools paradise!
Liars! If these people come to your door saying they will clean carpet or upholstery for free, have one more house to clean to win a prize etc.. SHUT THE DOOR. They sell extremely overpriced Kirby Vacuum cleaners in very high pressure sales and won't leave your home for 2 to 4 hours, then get rude when you won't buy it. The reviews are horrible on these vacuums, look them up. One sales technique they all use is to take. Another sales technique, they take a "trade in" on your vacuum but they really steal your vacuum, won't return it and when the vacuum breaks your out of luck and no replacement vacuum anymore. When someone hands you a business card with no phone number or website they are dishonest!!! Save your time and money, so happy I was home and we did not buy the crazy Kirby scam!
THIS BUSINESS IS CLOSED. APPROXIMATELY 5 months ago he just up and left everything. There is now an alterations shop there.
I would never do business with these people.My wife and I answered the door and one of there sales persons stated that they would clean our couch as a way of advertising there services.Once we e said okay, he leaves and a vacuum sales person step in to clean our couch, we told him we didn't want to buy any vacuum cleaner. He basically verbally assaulted us,left our living room a mess and left, calling us dirty people because we wouldn't buy his sweeper. We have a new home, and our home is kept clean. I called the office, Rankin and they apologized. Probably protocol for them. Do not leave these people into your home,no one deserves these actions.
Store is under new ownership. We were welcomed with a cheery greeting by both owners.they took care of our needs gave us a great deal on a new vacuum. 5 star service
Great job, fast and under the estimated repair cost. The owner knew his stuff and the place has a slew of customer service "Best of the Beach" awards.
