Orthopaedic Associates of Muskegon PC

I will never be a patient or recommend this practice to anyone. We recently had a surgery done by this man, and the surgery came out fine. However, a couple of weeks later the incision became infected. We took the child in to the ER, and found out that it was indeed infected. There was a follow up appointment like four days after the er visit. When he looked at it, the infection was obviously better because there had been four days worth of medication distributed. This man proceeded to call the actions for taking him in, "stupid." All we were doing was looking out for the child's safety. I don't believe that taking him to the ER was a stupid action at all. If the infection would have gotten bad enough, it could have led to a staff infection. It is always better to safe then sorry in the first place, especially when dealing with children. This man also decided to cast the broken arm about a half an inch right above the break. This action didn't provide the proper stabilization needed, and they also refused to recast his arm. They told us it would cost $150 to recast. I DO NOT recommend this place
