We are a veterinary hospital committed to providing high-quality medicine and patient care to our clients and their pets. Our hospital has been located in Muscle Shoals, AL, for over 30 years and has been under its current ownership since March 2009. We offer a full range of veterinary services for small animals (dogs and cats) including well pet care, surgery, dentistry, nutrition, and boarding.

We offer a full range of veterinary services:Well Pet Care - healthy pet examinations and consultations, vaccinations, nutrition, deworming and other parasite prevention, healthy pet blood screensPediatric and Senior Pet Care - targeted health recommendations for all life stages, nutrition counseling and diets, behavior consultation, geriatric screening for chronic diseases Internal Medicine and Emergency/Critical Care - in-house laboratory testing for critically ill patients, radiography (x-rays), hospitalization facilities for intensive cases, send-out laboratory testing for more comprehensive screening, ultrasound for more non-invasive medical work-ups, electrocardiography and cardiology consultation for heart disease, fully-stocked pharmacy and compounding by referral for specialized cases, access to board-certified specialists for consultation and referral on difficult to manage casesSurgery - routine spay/neuter procedures, general soft tissue surgery, tumor removal, all procedures include anesthetic monitoring for added safetyDiagnostic Testing - In-house blood testing and urine analysis, heartworm and fecal parasite screening, radiology and ultrasound, blood pressure screening, EKG, glaucoma screening, DNA testing for dogs, well-pet and pre-anesthesia blood testing, thyroid testing, diabetic monitoring

Location

We are located on the north side of Avalon Avenue just down from John R and the Garden Gate Restaurant. We have a parking lot along Avalon Avenue as well as additional parking behind our building accessible from Buena Vista Blvd.

Amenities

In addition to the routine care we provide for your well and sick pets, we also offer several other services. We are happy to perform bathing and limited grooming to your furry friends. Our doctors also offer behavioral consultation for problem pets. We have indoor climate-controlled runs and cages for extended stays during your vacation or daycare if you just need to be away for the day for appointments. Our pharmacy is fully-stocked to meet the needs of your pet, and we provide a full line of prescription and maintenance diets for dogs and cats. We offer early drop-offs (7a.m.) for added convenience on your workday; Saturday office hours are also available.
