The retailer s bakery products include breads, doughnuts, cakes, pies and cookies. Its dairy departments offer a range of items that includes milk, butter, cream, puddings, cheese and eggs. The company s delis feature an assortment of party trays that includes salads, appetizers, and rotisserie and fried chicken. It also offers deli meat and cheeses, including store brand Ranchers Preferred Deli meat. In addition, it offers a variety of fish and seafood that includes catfish, cod, sole, whiting, shark, mahimahi, shrimp, lobsters, crabs and scallops. Shop 'n Save operates more than 30 stores and also offers movie rentals. The company s associates participate in local school reading programs. As a primary sponsor of the Special Olympics, its employees participate in fundraising programs throughout the year. Shop 'n Save is a wholly owned subsidiary of Eden Prairie, Minnesota-based SUPERVALU.

        Ferri's has the BEST customer ...

        Ferri's has the BEST customer service that I've ever experienced, and I've been grocery shopping for over 50 years. A person working in an elevated office area

        keeps a close eye on the checkout lines, and if there is anyone waiting in line, even

        just ONE person, she calls on the Intercom for another cashier to open. Now that's what I call SERVICE.

        I've seen 3 people checking out (often including myself) at the same time, on 3 separate checkout stations, without a single person waiting in any of the 3 checkout

        lanes. FANTASTIC service!

        I often travel six miles to shop at Ferri's, rather than traveling just one mile to a large supermarket where the checkout lines are sometimes 6 to 10 persons deep.

        I give Ferri's a 5-star rating, and I will continue to shop there as long as they are open

        for business.
