Needed icemaker connected from standpipe to refrigerator. Repairman responded, checked it, and called me. Stated stand pipe had a cap on it and was missing the shut-off valve. Stated it was a plumbers job to install valve not his. Okay fine. Why not just use a saddle valve that clamps directly to the stand pipe. The saddle valve is an intrical part of any appliance repairman kit for icemaker setup. I was then charged $90.00 for no work done by an individual who was either not prepared for the job or who lacks expertise/knowledge. Perhaps he thought I'd call him back so he could charge me another $90 for a return visit. I STRONGLY recommend you do not use these people.
These guys are awesome to work with! You can tell if they truly care about you there unlike some of the other companies that are out to get you this is of company with a big heart. I personally do not need the rent to own aspect of it. The reason I purchased here was simply for the free set up and delivery!instead of killing an entire day hauling off my old furniture, going to purchase new furniture, getting it in the house finding people to help get it in the house, fighting it in the house and killing entire day in doing so I went in signed my paperwork and had my furniture waiting on me as soon as I got home. The delivery people were exceptionally friendly and explained the operation of my new furniture as well as helpful tips to make it last longer. I would call this a grade A experience and I look forward to doing business in the future for anything else that I may need!
had my washer looked at by 2 other service co's with no luck was told I should get a new washer that it was not worth repairing, called Murray appliance and Vic came out on time and fixed on the spot. it was a $5.00 part and is working great! I will be back to buy my next appliances from them and any repairs I might need
cheaper prices then rent a center and aarons and ANY other rent to own place ive seen, great people, great customer service
DO NOT RECOMMEND. I should have read the reviews before dropping my appliance off at their store. Don't make the same mistake dealing with their crooked ways. They will want you to drop off your appliance without talking to you at first so they can automatically charge their service fee. I relayed to them what was wrong with my appliance. All I wanted was a quote for the repairs so I could weigh my options. After they gave me a high priced quote and said the appliance (only a few years old) was not worth fixing, they still wanted their $55 dollar service fee. Don't get scammed by this business. They basically out priced the repair to get a washing machine for free so they can sell or salvage.
Can't get anyone on the phone. They said they had what I needed to fix my dryer and it would be ready the next day,and they would give me a call. Well I didn't get a call and I can't get threw to them on the phone. And still no dryer ready.
Worst service ever........don't consider doing any business with these guys if product service (after the sale) means anything to you! Would give 0 stars if possible........
every time my landlord has used Murray Appliance they have either not shown up or have been very late. I already have to take the time to readjust my schedule for the appointment and it is very frustrating when they miss their schedule time and I have to continue to call my landlord to get them to come out. If you say you're going to be there by a certain time or even between a certain time in the day don't insult your customers by not showing up. At least give me a call and let me know that you're going to be late or you can't do it so we can find somebody else to make the repair. I highly do not recommend Murray appliance!
There the best! I was going to buy a new gas cook stove at Lowes but they could not convert it to Lp or install it for me. I was told I would need to hire someone to convert it and hook it up!I went to Murray appliance….and bought a Ge gas stove, they converted and hooked it up for no extra charge and took the old one off! Love those guy’s.
These apartments are beautiful and great for college students, married couples just starting, or even retired folks. However, no matter how nice the apartments are, the landlords are not worth dealing with. Since I have lived here they have banned candles, they have banned guests staying over night, and they have banned decorations during the holiday seasons. I have gotten numerous notes saying that we cannot leave trash on the front porch, (which is acceptable) however, I left it out there for about 30 second while I went to get the trash from my bathroom. There is no freedom, although you will pay the highest rent in Murray ($435) for a one bedroom. Though the things stated above don't seem like a HUGE deal, NONE of them were in the lease that I signed with them at the beginning of my time here. I've had friends that moved out clean it so much that they brought their father who was a professional cleaner and they still kept their deposit because they said it was "dirty". I have been one of their best tenants. I am never late on rent. I do not trash my apartment. I understand they want their apartments to stay nice but it's continuously one thing after another. Needless to say, I will be ending my lease here very soon and since they are going to keep my deposit anyway, I will not be doing anything but dusting, sweeping, and mopping. They want to keep the money, so they mine as well work for it.
