GONE DOWNHILL----Office manager is rude. Stopped in to make an appointment. First thing I heard from her (without looking up from her computer screen) was "You'll have to wait at least two minutes before I can assist you." Ok. When she finally freed herself from Facebook, I told her I'd received an email that it was time for my annual check up. She said quite rudely, "We don't have anything for at least three months. " She finally managed to "work me in" about two months down the road, and I'm sure it was a supreme inconvenience for her. Apparently the staff doesn't want to be there. Just find another eye doctor in town. There are plenty who welcome you and your business, and have a service trained staff. The docs are decent here, but there are good docs in other places that treat you like at least a human if not a customer.
Not sure why I returned back to this office after 2 yrs, but didn't get a good feeling with the staff, nor the one lady in the eyewear section. It was totally obvious the woman who worked with me in December, was to handle my case and didn't want to, so she asked Audrea to work with me. Its been over a week since I was in the office to complain about not seeing out the "new" glasses, PROGRESSIVES, as they called it. After being schooled on the proper terminology, "Optometry drop out, excuse me, I was told I would be called by a staff member. I had to call today to find out the status of my glasses. Once this is over, I will never go back and never refer anyone to this office! Horrible customer service, especially if you aren't white.
One doctor I would recommmend. One eyeglass fitter I'd recommend if you're lucky enough to get her even after requesting her. The rest terrible and inexperienced. Nobody seems to be in charge. Would not recommend this location to anyone.
One of the worst experiences ever. I was a return customer and had told myself that I would not be back this year but gave them the benefit of the doubt. So had a 5:45 appointment time, at 7:10 I asked when I would be called, 3 ahead of me. There were three ahead of me when I got there. It was like rush them in and herd them out... Not concerned with the patient. DO NOT TRUST YOUR EYES to these people!!!!!
Horrible service! Had a 2:00 apt wasn't seen till 3:30. Then told they couldn't get the brand of contacts I wanted and have been wearing for 15 years because they were discontinued but that's a lie. Most places still carry them but I guess they don't because there's not enough mark up on them. (They only seem to care about how much you spend there, not actually you or the health of your eye). Please if you read this save yourself the trouble.
Went in for an exam for new lenses as I was only in town for the summer. The place was crowded, unorganized; and the employees act very unprofessional. They took almost two hours to get ahold of my insurance, lied about how much I was covered for, and then told me to come back in a week later so I could get my trial lenses. Well, they looked at me like I was crazy when I told them that I only wanted my trials and prescription and didn't want to order new lenses yet. Needless to say, I will not be using this service again. My advice: stick to LensCrafters, right across the street in the mall.
No. Not here. I had an eyeglass prescription 'on file' that they purged after less than two years (the minimum time a prescription is good for). They claim their policy is to keep a prescription for only one year, then purge their records. They wanted $77.00 for a new prescription.Another place just down the street (Vision Works) keeps their prescriptions on file for 2 years.Forget LensCrafters. Thank God we are still a Capitalist society, with choices!
Even gimmick ads and alleged promotions don't save this business. We were there for TWO hours, were told NUMEROUS inconsistent things about our script. ("We can get it", "We can't get it", "That will be $168", "Oh, sorry, that will be $278"!) Inconsistent, inefficient, unkind, and a JOKE. On top of all that, we consistently overheard workers complain about customers and make rude comments about customers behind the customers' backs. Needless to say we LEFT and will never go back. Would give a NEGATIVE star rating if that were possible.
I am not giving this place a star at all but you have to to post a comment. For one why make an appointment if you are going to be sitting for an hour waiting. When my husband goes to inform the receptionists that we have been waiting 25 minutes past our appointment (which there is a paper that clearly says if you have been there for more than 20 min. to let them know)the short haired bleach blond one was rude and says the other receptionist could talk to him about it like it bothered her.The so called office manager calls me into a room from the door of that room and gets snippy because i did not respond fast enough.well the blonde one doesn't like that my husband is getting a lil perturbed with how they are not being professional and the "office Manager"takes my husband in a room and tells my husband he cant be talking how he does not like whats going on and basically tells us to leave and find somewhere else......DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE the receptionist are RUDE!!!!!
