Reiki sessions are ideally held in a quiet and comfortable setting. While lying fully clothed on a padded massage table, the clients experience is enhanced by soft music, scented candles (clients preference) and low lighting. With light touch, the practitioner will gently place hands on multiple locations on the clients body. It is common for warmth, tingling, and/or movement to be experienced during a session as the client draws what is needed. An immediate positive response by clients is almost always expressed. A decrease or elimination of pain is common. Individuals who were previously feeling anxious or stressed often report a high level of relaxation and sense of increased energy and vitality. In fact, many clients fall asleep during a treatment where the body can heal and repair. While many benefits are immediately evident, the positive shifts in your rebalanced body may be experienced for days or even weeks afterwards.

Glycolic Peel
Glycolic peels are all natural (derived from sugar cane) and are in the lightest category of chemical peels. Known as a "lunchtime procedure," due to their short duration and rapid recovery time, glycolic peels can be used to remove superficial wrinkles and dry patches of skin, as well as to treat sun damage and acne scars. There is no downtime associated with a glycolic peel. There may be some dryness, flakiness, and redness as the top layer of skin falls away to reveal a smoother, healthier skin beneath however some oilier skins may experience no visible peeling. Salicylic acid or beta peels are often prescribed for patients who have oily skin or are acne prone. The Beta peel is a very elegant superficial peel.
