Furniture Stores in Murfreesboro, TN

We bought a lay z boy recliner a few years back in the franklin store and we’re very pleased. The recliner is still working and in excellent condition. We decided to purchase a matching one. We first shopped locally just to get an idea of the price. The local store prices the chair at $1900 and change which we thought was high. We decided to go to the new lay z boy location in Murfreesboro and discovered that our original sales lady is working there. She said their price is $2400 and change. Astonished, we told her the local furniture store offered it at $1900. She told us she’d price match and give a little extra if we had it in writing. We went back to local store, got the price in writing then drive back to Murfreesboro but our familiar sales lady was not working. After negotiating for 40 minutes, they refused to honor their employees agreement with us stating the price was too different - wasting our time and being dismissive and demeaning toward us over the issue. We purchased the same exact recliner for $500 cheaper 20 miles away in our home town. I will never walk into that location again and I highly recommend to anyone insisting on buying lay z boy, go to the franklin store or any other location than Murfreesboro.

Bought a dining room set today from someone who claimed to be the supervisor named Patrick. He was out front smoking a cigarette right in front of the door as soon as we walked up, first red flag. Then we purchased a table; all the while Patrick is watching the Florida gators game on his phone instead of focusing on customer service (you know, what he's getting paid for...his job) we were not told there were multiple options as far as color or design goes. So we paid for the table & had them load the table into our truck. We drove 45 minutes to get the table from this location by the way since the Madison store did not have it. So we drive 45 minutes back home & the table is the wrong color. We call the store back &Patrick asks us to email pictures because he said they only have 1 color. email sent, over 20 minutes later he calls back & says yep wrong color. So I tell them they need to fix it. His response is that we need to drive down & pick up another one...umm no. They screwed up & should be responsible for making it right w/o it costing me another $100 in gas (because we have to drive our truck out there to get it). So he argues with me on the phone for almost 10 minutes telling me I'm rude because I expect them to make things right. Then he says they can have it delivered to Madison on Monday & we can pick it up there to which I responded that that was still a 35minute drive for us. I asked if he could have it delivered since they screwed up....he refused. So now my 7 month pregnant self & my husband have to figure out how to repack the set, load it (which took an elevated loading dock & 2big guys to get it in the truck), & drive all the way back to the store to hope they give us the right one this time. I will NEVER shop here again & I would highly recommend others make the same choice.

Good selection and excellent prices. Tough to get out sometimes though - traffic backs up at the stoplight and makes it challenging to pull out.

I bought a Lazy Boy sofa and love seat at Quality Furniture in Murfreesboro in June or July of 2014. It wasn't long before the sofa seat began to sag and the back of it also begain to sag. The love seat was seldom sat on but the recliners didn't want to open when you pull the leaver to release them. I put the furniture in storage in March of last 2015 (I only used it for about 9 months) and didn't get them out until the Mmddle of Feb. 2016. I called Quality Furniture who told me they were no longer allowed to sell Lazy Boy Furniture because the now have a store in Murfreesboro and recommended that I call Lazy Boy and gave me a number to call. They told me that since Quality Furniture is independently owned they needed to get their repairman to fix it. Needless to say no one is willing to fix my furniture. I would not recommend Lazy Boy Furniture to anyone! It is cheaply made furniture at expensive prices!!
