This place SAVED our vacation! I had an excellent verbal (first mistake...always get an email verification apparently) quote for a car through Hertz for 22 days and when I arrived to pick it up they tried to charge me 4 times the price!!! Gratefully I found Avis and they got me a nicer car than I had planned through Hertz, and even an upgrade from our reservation with Avis when we were frantically trying to find a rental car, and it ended up being only $73 more than I had budged for our trip.AND additional drivers are free. I am surprised to see negative reviews (and a positive for Hertz, although my issue was with the one in Lebanon), although the one driver who rated it a 1 star waited until the last minute to make a reservation, not always a wise plan.
I am very disappointed in my service. I rented a car for six days. I only needed it two days because my personal car was fixed. I called the Murfreesboro store and corporate to ask if someone could drive me SEVEN-TEEN miles to my car, and they said, "that's against our policy." Wait, I thought picking me up or dropping me off was your modo? I will never rent from Enterprise, nor will I recommend them to anyone near the Woodbury Tennessee area.
I always,get great customer service. I have never had any issues with Enterprise. I tried another rental place but came back to Enterprise.
I give them two stars because of their convenience and because I've used them often and picking up the car is usually relatively pain-free. Returning a car is always a fiasco, waiting in line for one person at a desk who is being interrupted constantly. The parking lot is a disaster (inaccessible and cramped). There's no loyalty to the customer, they are inflexible and they refuse to acknowledge any fault.
You can not ask for a better group of people to care of all your car rental needs. They are friendly and very professional. I love visiting the Murfreesboro location. They will make you feel like you are their most valuable customer. Glad to see you back home Derrica!!
I called the day before to book a certain car. I had to have the trunk space to be able to fit everyone's luggage. I drive a nice car, I don't want to drive a crap car on vacation. I drove by the place and saw MY car the man told me I was getting. When I got there they said I had not specified which car I wanted and said they didn't have it. They rented my car. A luxury car at that. They pulled my new car around which was a piece of junk, smaller than what I asked for and had fast food bags in the back seat. Awesome!!! Just so happened the old dirty Malibu was the same price as the Chrysler 300(new). I asked the woman to make it right by either giving me an SUV or van. She said she could do nothing and I couldn't speak to anyone who could make it right. I sat there for about ten min googled a hertz that just so happened to be across the street. Went there, got a better car than ever dreamed, for 80 dollars less than original chrystler. Hertz was friendly, helpful, and stayed late to help me. Love them and can't wait to rent from hertz again!
The owners have poor communication skills, are not at all customer centered, and defensive. Saying I'm sorry goes a long way people! The car was fine, the price was fine, the customer service was very poor.
This Enterprise location is the worst place I have ever seen as far as customer service is concerned. The manager is very unprofessional, rude, doesn't acknowledge the aspect of "business". The staff is a bunch of college boys who have a bad attitude and are rude themselves, I guess their manager trained them well. If you ever need to rent a car, please save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere. They will try and charge you for things that they shouldn't. Upon checking out the gentleman who took care of us (Matthew) was the only professional business like employee they have here that we came in contact with. Upon return Phillip tried stating there was damages to a car that wasn't even done by us and Coye the manager as I said should not be in the customer service business. His attitude upon asking where we could write a review or contact corporate was "I could care less, call them or write whatever" I will NEVER use this location again if I ever even use Enterprise period!!!!
