Whether your home needs a complete renovation, or a room needs to be repaired, there are some things to know before you hire.
I had an appointment at 12 pm. The staff was 10 minutes late opening the store, then the technician took 10 more minutes in preparation, and finally she decided to take care of somebody else's nails before attending to mine. No explanations of apologies of any kind were offered. I left and, needless to say, will not be coming back.
This is the first time I’ve been to Happy Nails in Muncie. I already had a set of nails and asked for her to repaint them. She did NOT fill them which Was fine, but I left this place paying $30! You’re telling me it cost $30 to take nail polish off and paint them again??! Not only that, but the are pretty from a far.. until you look close. The tops are painted but when you look at like sides and they aren’t completely painted, it made me want to get them repainted right after she was done, but not by Happy Nails.
This being the Short Version, a more Detailed Version is below : Muncie Home Ownership is a nonprofit organization with knowledgeable and professional staff, quality housing, and very affordable. They host a workshop for managing finances, and offer advice with finances, repairing credit, and work toward the goal of helping people find affordable but high quality houses. Long term helping them be able to buy a new house at a fraction of the cost thanks to goverment grants, multiple local businesses and organizations contributions, as well as support from the Building Trade classes at Muncie Area Career Center. Using this method they lower overhead, provide Muncie jobs, provide students real life experience, and the homeowner a great house at a great price.Detailed Version: I've worked part-time off and on for this business for 14 years now, tree removal, carpentry, and minor cosmetic touch ups to the houses and apartments they offer. They've've always delivered outstanding quality, service, and professionalism in helping people through their program establish and/or improve credit, apply for grants, as well as for a home loan. Also offer a money management workshop to give insight to the home buying process with all it involves, and to both show how to manage finances effectively, and also to educate about the home buying process to avoid the client feeling overwhelmed or unprepared if unfamiliar by the process. They mainly focus on helping get people into their own brand new home. Being a nonprofit organization with assistance from Muncie Career Centers' various Building Trade programs, affliated local businesses and organizations, and government grants they are able to offer the people in the program a brand new home with multiple blueprints available to choose from and also allowing the client to customize the house and property to their preferences essentially giving them their dream house at a fraction of the normal cost. They also offer a few homes and apartments for rent, all of which are of outstanding quality visually, mechanically, and structurally. Equipped with kitchen appliances, central heating/air, and also very affordable due to their nonprofit status imposing a rent cap on their properties. I worked for them, met the people in the office, attended their workshop for a public speaking class, rented one of thier apartment, and have a friend going through the program while renting one of thier homes to buy one made for her on the next couple years. The staff are as professional as you will likely ever meet, especially considering the nature of thier work, it's very rare to meet people with that level of experience, skill, and talent in a place that exists to help others better themselves. To help people find a place to proudly call home that they can be happy living in, without having to work themselves to the bone to afford, or had lead a privileged never having to work hard to have nice things. Anyone who has the determination to better their life both short term or long should speak to the staff here, they can definitely help improve your quality of life and treat you with respect, patience, encouragement, advice, and without judgement. 5 of 5 on all aspects: the high quality staff, quality of the housing, the cost to value ratio of the housing, and the benefit of the going through the program both by educating and helping improve credit.
Ann Nails has done my nails several times! Ann does a good job plus she's easy on the fingers . It's always busy when I go so the wait is a little bit but it doesn't bother me
I've been going here for quite a while now and I've never had any issues. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, their building is always kept up, and I'm always happy with the services they provide.

Absolute worst experience ever. Tried going back to give them another chance and it was even worse than the first time. They gave me a manicure with COLD water and soap. Would NEVER recommend.
I would not recommend Mike Atkins/Mass Construction. We hired him to tear off an old wood deck and rebuild a new composite deck. A two man crew did tear off the deck. We paid Mike Atkins/Mass Construction $2800.00 to purchase materials. We have not seen him since.

I would not recomend mass Construction to anyone for any job. Promise after promise, excuse after excuse, but very little done about the problems he left us with. He got most of his money and then left us with unfinished, shoddy work under the house and 1/4 to 1/3 of our brick torn off. He has apologized and asked for a chance to correct and finish the work under the house. He has also acknowledged that he owes us money for work and materials for which he had been paid but didn't do buy. ( We paid another contractor complete the brick removal.) He still says he is coming to do the work. Sure!!!
