First off it smells HORRIBLE in there and it’s very strong.Anyway...So I went in to get a French pedi and the check in guy seemed irritated off the back. All I did was ask him what the wait time might be. He said there was two people In front of me and I asked so about a thirty minute wait. He just nodded. Then I asked “can I run to my car?” He said yes but if I’m not back in time I’d lose my spot and would have to resign in. I thought that was fine. I spent about 15 minutes in my car and came back to only one of the people who was still in front of me still waiting so I thought I was fine and sat down. In the mean time an older lady comes in and the other lady who was in front of me got called up to start. When the next nail tech is finished front desk guy proceeded to call the older lady’s who came in after me to come up to get started. I thought that was weird so I went to ask him if I lost my place and needed to resign in. He just tells me in his same irritated manner to go sit in the second chair. He barely looks up and I have to try and point to which second chair he’s talking about. So after after a few minutes of sitting there someone comes and starts on me.She basically slapped the paint on in seconds. The lines were crooked. The corners of a few of my toes didn’t have paint. She didnt even cover the whole nail with the base coat. She didn’t clean up the white polish on my skin from where she messed up. She slapped one layer of the clear coat and that was it. I could have done a better job myself. It was clear she was just trying to get to the older lady and my toes suffered because of it. Also after THREE DAYS my big toe chipped. I understand it’s not gonna last forever but maybe for a full week??? Not to mention when other people who I guess the front desk guy thought had more money got way better treatments do he was actually friendly. If you are young and black go somewhere else because they are definitely biased and treat you based on judgement.
DO NOT have your nails done at this establishment. No matter what time or day I arrive, there is an hour plus wait. I initially went in for an acrylic fill-in on Saturday, but the wait was so long, I left. I went back on Sunday and still had to wait for over an hour. There is usually only two technicians working on nails at one time with two more doing pedicures. After waiting for what seemed like forever, the nails only lasted three days before the acrylic cracked and came off. I called to see if they could repair them for me and was told that they only repair nails as a courtesy one or two days after they are done. I've had an acrylic overlay on my nails for quite some time and never had a problem with them cracking. They will never get my business again.
