Breezy Acres Boarding Kennel

As always, Carolyn is awesome and very caring about my 90 lb baby! She always ensures he is taken care of well!

The night before our flight out of town, we had last minute questions about what we should bring with our dogs when we dropped them off. We called several times that morning and no one answered. Someone FINALLY answered later in the afternoon. Then when we came back from our vacation we picked up our dogs and one of them seemed happy to see us, but the other one was hiding in the back corner of the cage and looked very scared. Once we got home, we noticed a tick on one of the dogs so we went ahead and checked our other dog and she also had ticks on her. Needless to say, our experience with Breezy Acres was awful and not to mention they did not seem very friendly.

I have been taking my dogs to Breezy Acres since they first opened and have been very happy with how well they have been treated. I have both small and large dogs and all of my dogs are always excited to go there. The people that work there have always been polite and know my dogs by their names. I can't think of any other place I would trust to take care of our babies.

This is the third time I have used Breezy Acres Boarding Kennel. The first two times seemed fine. The owner, Carolyn, seemed friendly and caring. This third time will be my last. I never did see Carolyn this time. We dropped off our two German Shepherd Dogs on Friday, November 9th in the morning. Pick up was scheduled for the following morning. We brought their food totaling 4 meals. One each for Friday evening and one each for Saturday morning. The young man who signed the dogs in Fri. morning knew they were to be fed that evening and the following morning. Their meals were in separate baggies, labeled with their names as each was on a different food and amount. When we went to pick them up Sat. morning, we were greeted by a different woman. She told me she had not fed our dogs in the morning because she had not been left a note to do so. The remaining two baggies of food were on top of each respective kennel, ready to go. I was NOT happy. I mentioned to my husband that we needed to find a new kennel, this woman said to me quite snotty, "Good luck finding another kennel, there ain't any around here". I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I WILL take them to a different kennel even if it means traveling a bit further.
