BEWARE OF BEING CHARGED TWICE!
I love a good sports bar & whenever I have to drive my kids somewhere for an event I always hang out at the nearest one when I need to pass some time. I was waiting for my daughter's birthday party to meet me after a concert at this one. The bartender finally got me a beer after he watched the conclusion of the dice game at the other end of the bar. I guess he thought I wasn't paying attention (I was in the middle of contacting the kids) when he took the $5 bill I put on the bar to pay for the beer. I didn't receive any change so I put a $1 on the bar for a tip. I had probably taken two sips of the beer when he returned and asked for another $5. I told him he already took my $5, but he argued with me, obviously did not believe me, so I told him to keep the beer & the tip & walked out.
Back in my car I wrote down the date, 06/26/10, the time, 8:40pm, and went back in to get his name & the owner's name. He said he'd call the owner right then, said they had cameras & asked if I wanted to review the recording. I said ""That would be great."" He must have thought twice about that because then he asked for my ID. I said it was in my car & that I'd write a letter instead, my purpose for this review.
I hope the owner sees this review & is able to review the recording. I have been to this place a few times and enjoyed it & it's a shame that those good experiences will be wiped out by this one.

Don't believe the negative comments. The food is good - love their cheeseburgers! Nothing fancy, but good.
Lots of TV's and all of the football games are on.
It's a great place to stop by after work, or hang out on weekends and watch sports.
Everyone is very friendly.

Hmmm...I suspected an casual dive bar with tasty grub and low prices. Instead, the food was almost unpalatable and the costs were more than high end night clubs. $5 for a beer is more than even SF. The food was also worse than a cafeteria and they didn't even bother calling you when your food was ready.
Guess they have to afford all the fancy renovations on the back patio.
