The worker made us feel very uncomfortable while shopping at her store. She spoke to us with a attitude and was very rude a few different times during our shopping experience.
Place is also over priced for used things.
Also if it's not for sale then why is it in your store! Yell at a child for playing with things that are not for sale in a kids store is not ok.
I will not be returning to this store again.
Give it another chance.
I just bought the place from her and I'm cleaning it up as fast as I can. :)
It is a valuable community resource and we aim to keep it that way. Please come back! I promise you'll be amazed at the chance that's taken place already (I've owned it for four days).
Huge improvement needed. If you have a shop this small you need to be way more organized. Merchandise is piled so high you have to climb over it to shop. Owner had a wrist injury/syrgery that should have taken her out of commission about 4 months but has had the uncanny ability to make the owner sit behind the register on a full time basis before the wrist injury and ever since. I have never actually seen her moving about working on her store the almost 2 years she has been in buisness. Many items are filthy. My friend went to purchase a high chair to find that it was covered in filth. Cannot believe you would consider selling any item for a baby in that condition. I read the review above and cannot help to consider it must be a friend of the owner because anyone else I talk to has had the same experience as I do. Look, it is A LOT of work to own and operate your own buisness. It is a full time and then some job. Perhaps this young lady had no idea how hard it is to run your own buisness and that is understandable so all I can say is that she has bitten off way more than she can chew. I miss Grandma Marys. Her store was clean, extremely organized, and well put together. I think this gal should have taken a few lessons from her before taking on such an overwhelming job. Good Luck!
Store is small, yes, but owner takes a LOT of donations in addition to consignments. A lot of those donations go to local charities and the owner also lets mothers without money get what they need. I have seen people drop off huge trash bags of "donations" here! I have found great things for my daughter here and had a great experience consigning - she takes really good care of those of us with accounts there and if you're buying a lot she will often give you a deal. She had surgery on her wrists this past year too, which left her unable to do much in the store until she could lift things again but things are better and yes, now she has a mountain of winter clothes to sort through and an entire store of summer gear to pack up and store - all by herself with her four year old son with her - she works seven days a week with a military husband - so I don't knock her for a pile or periodic stain (I have a two year old, things will get stained anyway). I love this place!
