Racine Heating Affordable Comfort

This is the 2nd company I’ve called in two weeks for my AC. The FIRST one I CALLed couldn’t figure out the problems so just in case decided to add refrigerant (r22) He couldn’t get the refrigerant to go into the system. His gauges wouldn't work and the pressures were all wrong and he didn’t know why that would be. They charged me $100 per pound for the part pound he might have got to go in. Told me that I needed to replace the AC and furnace – in writing!

Call Affordable –Scott came out. In a matter of minutes he saw that the A-Coil was frozen. Turn on the heat, thawed the A-coil. He recharged the refrigerant at ONLY $40 per pound. He checked flow, refrigerant, filters etc.. . When he was done, the AC worked fine! And he said there was absolutely no reason to replace the furnace and AC it would be good for years to come. All this at ½ the price of the FIRST place I CALLed.
