Had a great visit with Dr Bryan with my back Was highly disappointed when he sent me back after my MRI to get an injection in the other building. When I did Not have $250 that my insurance would not pay. They refused to give me the injection or even talk about a payment arrangement. So I feel I was denied medical attention 🤮 so in the meantime I hurt and feel I can not do my job at work like I should or even help with my family😢😩

People who leave comments are generally those who have something bad to say. I have had nothing but great experiences at SSI. I was rear-ended in a car, and damaged my spine. I followed all recommendations INCLUDING physical therapy. I have seen a lot of overweight people both at the SSI and my physical therapy sessions. They tend to be lazy and have an "I can't" attitude. There is no magic pill and surgery takes rehabilitation--a lot of which comes from the patient's part! Once a back patient, ALWAYS a back patient.
Dr Don Johnson performed back surgery on my wife 2 years ago assuring her it would completely fix her problem. A year later with no health improvement he suggested a Spinal stimulator surgery. Now a year later no improvement and now sitting in another hospital as my wife receives her 3rd back surgery by another physician outside of Dr Johnson's Southeastern Spine group. Beware. Dr Johnson is an orthopedic doctor that appears to be more interested in driving up patient charges rather than improving health. Never again will we be fooled by his resume, credentials, and BS ads
Well I guess I was one of the lucky ones. I had neck surgery it's been over a year and still no pain dr. Poletti did a great job and I would recommend him to any one.
1. Gave me the wrong surgery and doubled my pain (people with Facets problems should not have ADR)2. Sent me back to work where I had to stand on my feet for 8 hours a day (I was in so much pain I almost killed myself)3. I point to a spot on my back for a year and finally they said we don't even do anything there. The doctor yelled at me and that was the last I ever saw of him. After that, he pawned me off on his PAs.4. I contact them after 2 years not going to their office. What is their response? How are you feeling? We hope you are well? Nope it was what is your current insurance information.
Very knowledgeable and caring doctor. Interested in me as a whole person, not just a patient. Went into my hip replacement with confidence and reassurance that I was in good hands. No complications after surgery. Great at pain management after surgery. Great office staff. Will definitely use Dr. Schutte for my next hip replacement.
Went there by referal from two other people. What a joke. This was a 3rd opinion and first two doctors say T6 thry T11 are damaged and L2L3 herniated disk. Easily seen by the MRI and X-rays. Been thru therapy, chiropractic, pain management all with no help. When I get there they take more x rays bacause they say the first is too bad to see. Talk to 3 diffrent people who ask the same questions and obviously never looked at the paperwork from the other doctors or pain management place. Then they tell me nothing is wrong with my back and I need their pain management. I could even see the problem areas on my xrays from where the other doctors pointed them out to me. They acted like it eas no big deal. I go next door to the pain management building then they want to charge $295 and another $30 for facility and extrra doctor fee for a shot that is fully covered by my insureance. $295 to use their building? I walked out! It was obvious that the doctor was only looking for a quick eazy fix patient so he could get his quota for the month. My back is really messed up and I was scooted out the door so he would not have to deal with it. Stay far far away from this place. Its all about the numbers they can run thru quckly at the highest profit.
Great experience in the consultation stage of my knee replacement. The staff was very friendly, the red carpet was rolled out. Dr. Schutte was very personable, his assistants very professional and courteous. This experience definitely made a difference in planning for surgery, I'm almost looking forward to having this procedure done, definitely not the mind set I had going in. R.Benton
NO STARS HERE! My daughter was referred here by her internist for a documented herniated disc (by MRI), and when we appeared for her appointment, with her barely walking and using a walker and in obvious pain, she was summarily dismissed because she did not have insurance. She is quite capable of paying the entire bill, and offered to pay in advance for every procedure. She was summarily shown the door and we were advised that they do not accept self-paying patients "across the board.:" I was appalled by the callousness of this policy, especially since she was referred by her internist, was in obvious pain, had an MRI which documented 2 herniated discs, and offered to pay in full prior to each procedure. All I could think of was that she was spared by their refusal - spared of needless moneymaking procedures by a facility interested primarily in making a profit in lieu of patient care. I feel she was incredibly fortunate to have NOT seen these folks.
