Cleanest nicest nail salon in the area! Owners are always there and super friendly! Won't go to any other salon!

I selected this salon years ago after it dawned on me I didn't have to listen to either asethetician chatter during my manicure or pedicure. It was quiet with the exception of being asked about my preferences and comfort. Music was playing softly and two televisions were silent with both set on closed caption (guests can read what's on the televisions). Additionally, the salon is immaculate. All tools are sealed in packets and opened in front of guests. The decor is also professional yet with a personal touch. Over the years I have observed all new pedicure chair updates, guest chair replacements, and aesthetician chair updates. Every inch of the salon is cleaned every night with all aestheticians working later in the day (6:00 and much later) doing the cleaning with the owners who are on site working side-by-side with their staff. My nails have never looked so beautiful so consistently and the pedicures here are exceptional. This salon has a loyal following as a result.

They were very rough with my nails and left bruises under the acrylic. Also the process was very painful.

I went yesterday to do my nails there. In ten years this the worst! Sonny did it and I wasted my money. Horrible! I'll never come back again. I do not recommend this place at all!.

I've lived in the area over 4 years and have tested a number of nail locations. Sonny, the owner, helped me diagnose an allergic reaction to acrylic nails and suggested silk nails, which they do there. I have since had silk nails done other places and always come back to Star because their people know how to do them correctly. I have always had good service at Star. The pedicures are awesome and the people are very nice. The massage chairs are well taken care of and everything is very clean. I don't know about the experiences of the other reviewers but mine has always been good and I've been going there for 3 years. I'm also picky when it comes to customer service.

This was one of the worst nail salons I have ever visited. The people were somewhat friendly, but nothing special. After my tech finished my manicure and I examined it closely, I found a lot of problems. I asked to have my nails rounded and I got hideous square nails with slightly frayed edges. There were many various bubbles (at least one per nail). The white paint was slightly smeared on each nail. The paint also got underneath my nails and felt disgusting. Usually when I get my nails done professionally, they look like a smooth sheet of glass. When I looked at my nails this time, they looked bumpy and wrinkly(?). The paint has started peeling and I just got out of the salon thrity minutes ago. Overall, I could have done a better job myself. Now I have to go to fix the botched manicure.

Very busy location. Normally a 15-20 minute wait even during a weekday afternoon.



Staff is friendly, but the quality of serivce depends on the tech. Nail Serivce (Pink & White Acrylic) was great the first time I visited but the second visit I experienced the acrylic coming up in spots and the white tip did not cover my natural nail.



Pedicures are ok, nothing special.



Not a location to visit if you wish to relax and enjoy the experience.
