At first they were great. I was a loyal cucustomer. When they are busy they take short cuts. Malkin customers, if they can fit them in take preference. I have had a few sloppy manicures and pedicures. At first i thought maybe the person was new. The last time I went there they were very busy. I didn't see them clean the pedicure tub or take out new instruments, but trusted they had. I got a nail infection on all fingers and toes for the first time from any salon. I feel badly, but I can't go there again. A salon has to be consistent in service, and cleanliness. They are not. Besides now I have mail infections to deal with. Don't risk it.
The WORST pedicure of my life!!! Do not go here. My toes were bleeding while they are drying. Never going here ever again!!!
I wish this had a "zero star" option. I will never return to this awful place and I will be sure to tell everyone I know never to go there. I called before I went to find out how much a gel manicure was. The girl on the phone told me $38 and proceeded to give me more information about how long they last, etc... I went in for appt., the girl did a pretty good job. I went to pay and a man at the counter (I am assuming he is the owner/manager) rang me up for $40. Now I realize this is only a two dollar difference, but I mentioned that I called and was told $38. He immediately became very defensive and angry, saying I called the wrong place. I remained polite and even pulled up my recent calls on my phone and showed him the number and time I called. The girl who had answered my call was standing beside him and she pointed to a sign near the telephone and told him, "See, it says $38," to which he replied, "No, no, still - she pay $40!" I said that I felt that it was customary to give a customer the price they were quoted. "You pay $40!" he demanded. When I handed them my check card to pay the $40, I told him I was very disappointed and would not be coming back. "Good!" he said. "You don't need to tell me anything!" I was shocked at how rude he was to a paying customer, even while his other customers looked on. I have never once been in an establishment where I was quoted the wrong price on an item or service and not been given an apology. While it was only a two dollar difference, it was the principle of the matter. Clearly, this man's customers and reputation mean nothing to him. I was blown away by this negative experience.
This is a beautiful AND clean nail salon. The service is excellent and very affordable prices. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.
I won't go anywhere else to tan or get my nails done! I love Paradise!
I have been having my manicures and pedicures done by Lee (the owner) for the past 6-7 years. She is VERY good and very quick and is always prompt for my appointments. I have acrylic nails with a hand painted design and the way she files the nail edges keep them strong and nearly impossible to break. The prices are very reasonable. I recommend her salon to everyone!.
