First Baptist Church of Helena

When we moved to Escawtawpa, we tried several churches. My daughter told us about FBCH. It was exactly what we were looking for. Although there were churches one street away, we drove the extra distance. The people were welcoming to our entire family. Gene taught us so much in Sunday school and Brother Robbie taught me about God. We tried to be there every Sunday because we could not start the week without Brother Robbie. Ron and I were baptized together, we renewed our wedding vows, and this was after Ron had a stroke and was told he would never walk again. Well, we made it, God on his one side and I on the other. Our family has never been the same without Brother Robbie and Gene. If we didn't live so far we would still be attending church. We have not attended another church since we moved in 2004 but we plan on making our way back. God is truly present in this church!!
