My family & I went in to look into a 70" & above TV. I always tell sales people that I'm just looking. One salesman in particular greeted us with an extremely warm "Hello" as soon as we went into the stor. I quickly answered by saying the all too famous "Just Looking". He told me about that he was there to just answer questions & that he would be back. Boy am I glad Bob Atkins came back! Bob is a treasure trove of information & by the time he finished showing & educating my wife on the different specifications that are now in what seems to be technology inside TV’s that would make the Starship Enterprise blush. Bob is the best! We had a pleasurable, no push, or fake sales-y personality. Just honest education that is appreciated in today's electronic purchases. We had two technicians. The first technician on 4/5 misdiagnosed the problem with the refrigerator. He felt it was the thermistor and replaced it. However, 24 hours later the same problem existed. Another technician came out and diagnosed it as needing a damper, he ordered it and when we received it he came back out and installed and the refrigerator now works fine. I am mostly disappointed with the customer service problem handlers who refused to refund me for the Thermistor that was not needed and not following the sequences of the calls. However, I did get it resolved when I called and spoke with someone willing to listen and follow the dates. But I haven't decided if all of the hassle was worth dealing with Sears.
The repair technician was experienced and did a fantastic job in repairing the refrigerator. I had been trying to get it fixed through several repairmen since December 2015. Finally, the right technician who knew what he was doing finally fixed the problems.
It appeared that I knew as much about my unit as the repair tech. I basically talked him through the repair, made a few adjustments after he left, and wasted my $178. I assumed he would come and have much more expertise.
you guys are truly great a excellent place to buy your parts I truly wish you could open on Saturdays at least half day.
