My mother, her best friend, and I went around 5. The restaurant was mostly empty, so we thought we would have a better chance at receiving prompt and friendly service. Not the case at all. Things started off bad with the hostess, who just walked us to the table without a word, set our menus down and left. Our waitress, Jasmine, who was smiling at the guests behind us, greeted us with a scowl. She had an edge to everything she said from the get-go, though we were friendly off the bat. She rushed us to order. A few minutes later we get drinks and olive oil and told that the bread would be out in a minute. A minute translated into 20 minutes. My mom's best friend ordered the trio, and asked that everything be sent out at once. Everything got sent separate, and her mushrooms were cold, because they had been sitting on the counter waiting for everything else to cook. My mom's scampi were lukewarm. The food, once it was cooked fresh (about 30 minutes later), was delicious. The service was terrible, and we can't understand why. No one but the bartender looked happy to there, so who knows. I know it took us way too long to get our food, and the staff were not even hiding the fact that they were more interested in giving each other hugs and high fives than taking care of the customers. We will stick to the Peachtree City location instead.
I absolutely love this OG location. It's the only location I'm comfortable going to because I know my order will be fresh, accurate, and delicious.
I've been several times to this location and I always leave happy. I recommend the Mahi and Pork Chop Marsala. Ask for Mike; he's a great server.
