The days of mom and pop stores are gone and personal service is out the door regardless where you shop. I am in these stores several times a week and have become personal friends with the employees and the ones that have been there for years are friendly and knowledgeable but there’s a big turnover in employees these days and they hire people to sell a product. An electrician is not going to be working in the electrical department or carpenter in lumber so you need to know what you’re doing because they caint tell you anything but where the product is. Now corporate is scaling back on labor so somebody in gardening may be in paint dept. for the day or someone in appliance in lumber so you don’t have person that can even tell you where a product is. Corporate greed is today’s business and the consumer gets the shaft that’s the world we live in.

I've been to this Lowes countless times in the year and a half I've lived in Morristown and every single time, I leave claiming I'll never go back. They have great products, but their service is the worst. So much for southern hospitality. And worst of all, we've been waiting since August 2016 to get blinds for 2 windows. Called more times than I can count and no one has STILL bothered to contact us or come do the job even though we've paid the $30 deposit. I'll go to Home Depot from now on.
