Bought 4 Hankook v12 tires from here on Dec 8, 2014. After 1866 miles the driver's side rear tire, inside side-wall, separated from the tire. We took the tire back and the technician took a look at the tire and noted that there were no punctures and little to no wear on the tire. He noted that it "probably" a manufacturer's defect but couldn't be 100% certain that this didn't happen as the result of a road hazard. We then asked him to call Hankook and inquire as to the warranty status. He told us that he called and the OEM said that there was nothing they could do however when we asked for the contact information it took him 20 minutes to find it. Hmmmm, he said that he just called them. This seemed a little fishy. When we pressed the issue he said that he couldn't and wouldn't verify the information to the manufacturer because if Hankook made the decision to replace the tire under warranty, Porter tire would have to respond with a warranty replacement. This infuriated me. Porter's explanation for the refusal to repair was that we didn't purchase their road hazard warranty. We didn't have to as these tires are warrantied by the manufacturer. They then informed us that the warranty card was sent to the OEM and the tires weren't registered in a timely manner; excuses, excuses, excuses. As a side note, when we purchased a new tire (out of necessity) they still didn't offer the OEM's warranty card, even after just going through the issues that we had. Left befuddled and feeling like we were duped out of another $250. We took the tire to the next closest Hankook dealer and had them take a look and without batting an eye, the lead technician affirmed that this damage was a manufacturer defect. The other dealer even helped with returning the tire to Hankook and issuing a refund. This was top notch customer service and helped make this right. We will never again use Porter Tires of Morristown nor will we recommend their service station to any of our friends, family, or colleagues. I like supporting smaller, local businesses when and where I can, even if costs a little more than the big box stores however in this case, I would much rather drive the extra distance or take my business to a big box store.
I always go to Porters. I don't price check anymore, there is no need to. They take care of me no matter what the problem. I would recommend them to everyone. I'm single now and don't have to worry about them trying to get over on me. The only place to get your tires. I'm sure they have some off days, we all do! But, they do a good job and are always willing to answer any questions!!

Place is a dump, poor quality of tires and workmanship is suspect as best. Had to bring vehicle back 3 different times to correct original problem. They were rude, said they had been in business forever and "don't need your business".. well that's good because they won't get it ever again. The owner is a snake oil salesman, accepts zero accountability. Strange that I would get better customer service at a giant corporation as opposed to the place I need to "ask your grandaddy about". Unfortunate for me, my grandpa passed long ago, but I bet he would have told me to stay away from this place. As should all good folks who need to get great service at a low price. *** Buyer be ware ***
