I love French food and I've heard so much about this place that I had to drop in. After my visit I can't say that I feel the same as other who have raved about this place. The atmosphere was nice and so was the service , but the food wasn't the star . It was lunch time and I wanted something lite so, I tried the Crisped Duck Confit with frisée salad and potatoes. The duck was good , but the sauce didn't have much of a flavor. The salad well ... I could have done without, but the potatoes were decent. All and all the meal wasn't bad, but based on what I was told it didn't knock my socks off. I will try them again because I'm always willing to give a restaurant one more chance. My friend had the seafood pasta and she said it was amazing. On my next trip I'm going to try my all time favorite French dish which is Coq Au Vin. Now if this isn't where I need it to be I'm going to have to make this my last trip. This is still a nice place to meet up for drinks and the staff is amazing.

Bistro Niko is one of my family's favorite places to go. Last week, I was lucky enough to attend twice. Once for my mothers birthday dinner and then the Veuve Clicquot event! The lively atmosphere is intoxicating and they have some of the best champagne selections in the city. My mom and I sat on the patio overlooking Peachtree and enjoyed the lovely fall weather. The Veuve event there was absolutely packed with young professionals eager to socialize after work. There was decor, drink specials and even a photo backdrop outside to take photos in front of. The Veuve reps walked around taking polaroids of everyone and the Bistro bartenders were having a great time mixing drinks for everyone. Can't wait until their next event.
Oh Pauley's, you had me at hello... I have to admit that I didn't have very high expectations. I just knew I'd be eating crepes. But as soon as I walked towards the restaurant, I knew I'd be getting more than I bargained for. I loved the cool, modern look and feel and all of the windows. I was there during the day, so all of the sunlight woke me up immediately. My server was very helpful and attentive as soon as I sat down at my table. I noticed that there were outlets at the bar, which means I can bring my laptop with me to work while I sip an A.C. Slater (Crown Royal, Ginger Ale, and Pineapple Juice) or two. I'm so glad I found out about this new spot, and that it's near my home. I will definitely be a regular!
If I had to say something bad about this place the only thing I could say is that they don't offer turkey bacon or sausage. Outside of that they're amazing! I had the breakfast sandwich which you have your choice of bread, meat and cheese. I also had a ice coffee. They call it the Dirty Chai , but you will call it a heaven. This drink is one of my favorites!!! This is a nice cafe to meet up with friends or just to grab a quick coffee, lunch or pastry.
Pauley's is a great addition to the westside restaurant scene. The food was good, the beers are a great deal (most are $5) and there are tons of TVs. They also take reservations, which is so convenient when most places don't. The food, I will say, isn't as good as the Athens location. Hopefully they'll work this out soon - good, but not great!
Come hungry! I cannot stop raving about this place. Their food is unbelievable! The mussels, salmon, dessert platter and more! Went there recently with a couple of girlfriends for a girls' night out and had a great time! Add a bottle of rose into your dining experience and it doesn't get much better! Will be back soon!
A very pretty, light, and airy restaurant located in Krog Street Market. I came for their oyster special - they have a daily oyster happy hour from 5-7. You can't find a better, most consistent deal in town. We sat at the raw bar and ordered a few dozen oysters - great, fun staff that talked with us as they shucked!
LOVE this place! Great addition to the West Side. Not just a breakfast place. In fact, it's more of a late-night place! They do have sweet and savory crepes, though, which are both tasty. Of the appetizers, I loved the chicken tchoupitolas--great for sharing. And the beer selection (and bar seating) is impressive.
The food was delish! I went for dinner, but given that the majority of the restaurant had a fresh white decor, I really want to go back for a fun bright lunch! The staff was so nice and friendly. I really loved the chocolate dip they served for dessert and the herb butter sauce for the filet is incredible!!!!
I love when I can find a place downtown Atlanta that has great food and atmosphere and you don't have to pay to park. That's Amelia's. I got to enjoy a pot of Jasmine tea with broccoli quiche and a Chocolate filled crossaint. I didn't have a complaint. Plan to return again and again.
