There is a reason John has amazing reviews. As a young college student far away from home, I really had no idea what to do when I woke up to a busted pipe and flooding in my basement this morning. I'm naive when it comes to home repair and maintenance, and being far from home, had no idea where to go for a plumber except Google. I'm so glad I did. I saw John's company listing and read his reviews. I can now do the same. He managed to fit me into his schedule the SAME DAY. When he arrived, he found the problem, fixed it, and charged next to nothing for his service. Unlike other local plumbers who would have taken advantage of my naivety and charged $300 just for showing up, John charged a total of $120 for the ENTIRE service. I literally could not believe it. John is our "Go To" guy. We live about 90 miles away and haven't been to the house in a while. We called him to fix some water damage to a rental property. He not only fixed that, but a few other things we didn't even know was broken! He also filled nail holes in the walls, replaced heating pipes, insulated pipes that hadn't been previously, fixed a drain and created a nice, stable deck out of one that was unsafe. His wife was also great. She touched up floor paint that was accidentally stepped in and made sure everything was clean and tidy before they left. All this and he stuck to his estimate!! I got estimates from several contractors before calling maintenance free, and John's estimate blew the other guys out of the water. (he actually charged me the estate price too! ) He showed up quickly and went straight to work replacing gas lines. He did the job I asked of him without a flaw, and when the gas company demanded that I make alterations, he canceled personal plans and was back here within a couple hours after I called!
