Yiiiikes. I should have turned around and walked out the door as I entered because the place is rank but I decided to give these ladies the benefit of the doubt. Apparently that was a huge mistake. My hair was cut in under ten minutes. I could hardly get a word in before it was finished and the one time that I did mention how I like my hair cut I was given a rude sarcastic response. Rita cut my hair. Rita, you should find a new profession. Something that doesnt involve customers. I called the salon after leaving and was hung up on twice by some other lady who seemed to be super amused by hanging up on a customer. Finally I got in contact with Rita on my third call and expressed that I wasn't really happy with my cut. Her response "ok." Pretty sure when you work in customer service and someone dislikes your service you should apologize at least. But there was no apology, in fact she hung up on me. So not only did I get an awful haircut, treated pretty rudely during the haircut, I also got hung up on three times after the fact. Apparently these super high class ladies are swimming in cash because they don't need mine. I want a refund. What a sad sad place.

The other staff here seems very good. The owner is irresponsible, apathetic, and unprofessional. My first appointment she forgot I was coming in and I had to wait an hour. Anyone can make a mistake. The second time she forgot she talked to me and booked me and I explained she needed to get me in I was going out of town. She did make time to do my hair. While in there another male customer was using profanity and she allowed it. Really??? I was not pleased with my highlights it took me 3 weeks to get an appointment to be able to get her to fix it - that was last week. At 11:45 pm she texts me to give away my appointment to someone else. A little late! I did not see it until much later, obviously. I called today and I was given the message she will call me back, but she did give it away to another customer. She never called me back. I have a family event tomorrow my hair looks horrible and now I need to go PAY a salon to fix her mistakes and not be looking my best tomorrow.
Today on Saturday, I visited a local Smart Cuts location in Morganton Heights Shopping Center. I was shocked when I first entered about 11:20 am, and NO one "greeted" me or asked me anything. I waited for about 45 minutes, and watched other customers get "called" to get service, while I sat obviously waiting for a haircut. After waiting about an hour, I walked out, and drove to the opposite side if the shopping center, where I walked into Great Clips, and within 5 minutes, I received service, and got a haircut. I was totally " shocked" at the lack of customer service at Smart Cuts. I had visited this Smart Cuts location several times since it opened for business, but today was different. I did however get superior service at Great Clips, and they even accepted my coupon for a $ 6.99 haircut that I had planned to use at Smart Cuts. So I guess I will visit Great Clips from now on, since Great Clips VALUES customers and greets people when they enter the front door !After all, customers are the reason you are open for business, Smart Cuts.
