Sonny's Bar-B-Q

Pitiful at best on Jan. 23, 2020 on 328 W. Plaza drive. Paid $9.99 for a little sandwich with little meat on it. So, $20 for two sandwiches that I could normally get from any BBQ for $5.00 each or less considering the day old and small amount of meat. I could have gotten the same out of the dumpster. Will never buy from Sonny's again, and locals told me I should have given it back to them, since it is not local friendly, rather like a tourist joint in Moorseville.

We just moved to the area and we where trying new places we went here I had never heard of it my husband said he had ( he said something about seeing one in Florida ) well... neither one of us like it there was no flavor with the chicken nor ribs and the sides we not very good ( garlic bread was but, how hard is that to make) My husband wanted to talk to the manager about the food .... we just decided not to come back

I went and had the chicken it was baked chicken and you put your own sauce on it ( whats BBQ about that? When I do not smell smoke its not BBQ)the chicken was so dry and over cooked it was like chicken jerky the green beans and mac n cheese were baby food mush they offered me more and I said I have already wasted my lunch time.... ate 2 bites of nasty beans an mac n cheese and bread go there if this is what you want.... or go to Smokey Bones if you want real BBQ

You can't eat here at fast food prices, but it's still cheaper than most sit-down restaurants in the area. This location has one of the best salad bars you'll find around, always fresh and well stock. The barbecue is great, too.
