Align to Health is a wellness-based chiropractic practice that helps people of all ages reach optimal performance and wellbeing. We specialize in treating neuromusculoskeletal conditions by restoring proper biomechanics to the spine and extremities through the use of chiropractic adjustments, functional neurology, neuromuscular rehabilitation, therapeutic exercises, and nutritional support. We strive to work with patients to develop individualized strategies to meet personal goals.Dr. Sobel is an avid cyclist, gardener, and cross-country skier. He has lived in upstate New York, California, and Vermont where he managed bicycle shops and designed and built custom bicycle frames. He graduated from SUNY Stony Brook with a foundation in pre-medical studies and a BA in Psychology. He earned his doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in 1997. He then returned to Vermont and opened a practice in South Burlington where he has helped patients reach and maintain vibrant health for the past 16 years. He has additional training in Applied Kinesiology, Nutrition, Spinal Trauma, and the treatment of sports injuries and motor vehicle accidents through a variety post graduate courses. He recently expanded his clinical offerings by completing over 450 hours of post-doctoral training in Chiropractic Clinical Neurology with the Carrick Institute.Dr. Sobel was voted the 2005 Chiropractor of the Year by the Vermont Chiropractic Association. He is a long-standing member of both the American and Vermont Chiropractic Associations. He served as the Education Chairperson and Vice-President of the VCA.Dr. Sobel lives in Middlesex with his wife Suzanna.
