Established in 1955, Saint James School is an independent, nonsectarian educational institution that is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Southern Association of Independent Schools. It serves more than 1,100 students in kindergarten through grade 12. The school offers a range of general academic, honors and advanced placement programs. It provides education in algebra, economics, Latin, Spanish, computer applications and fine arts. Saint James School operates forensics, yearbook, theater and drama clubs. The school offers a range of sports activities that includes baseball, basketball, cheerleading, volleyball, football, swimming, softball, cross country, wrestling and tennis. Through its Giving for Continued Excellence program, it raises funds to support academic and extracurricular activities. Located in Montgomery, Ala., Saint James School also provides meals and guidance sessions.
