Overall

Fantastic food, reasonable pricing with outstanding service. My wife and I drive up from New Brockton on an average of at least once a month for our Food Fix, ha.ha.

Overall
Authentic Greek Food in Montgomery

Two co-workers and I had lunch at Mr. G's Ristorante on Friday. The restaurant was serving a steady stream of customers with a short wait for a table. Considering this was their first week open, the wait staff did a great job of checking on the table and apologising for the delay in being served. The food was absolutely wonderful, if you close your eyes you will think you are eating on a Greek island. I ordered a Greek salad and the spanakopita from the appetizer list. There could have been more dressing on the salad but when mentioned to her, our waitress brought more right away. The kalamata olives were pitted, which was a nice little surprise. The spanakopita was the best I've ever eaten and the bread basket was filled with toasted rolls with garlic butter. The music was not entirely Greek, there was some Italian mixed in but it was at a perfect volume for not impeding conversations. I particularly liked the colors and decor, some of the what-nots reminded me of those in the cases at Chris' Hot Dogs! Demitri promised that he would serve those wonderful fried pies with hard sauce that were famous at Dale's and the earlier Mr. G's. I cant' wait! You can bet I'll go back.
