American Tree Experts, Inc. was started in 1934 by Francis Rombough. This family business is now in its third generation with an ISA Certified Arborist and a New Jersey Licensed Tree Expert on Staff. American Tree Experts specializes in Tree Pruning all the way from simple home clearance, to fine aesthetic shaping. This work is carried out by trained professionals. We always keep an eye out for safety hazards and make it a point to notify the customer if there are points of weakness (cavities, splits) that are not visible from the ground. We also specialize in tree removals, which become necessary when trees are dangerous or dead. No job is too small and no job is too big. Our plant health care division has made great advancements over the last 84 years of business and we diagnose and treat all types of insect and disease problems on shrubs and trees. We specialize in issues like the treatment of hemlocks for woolly adelgid and ash trees for the emerald ash borer. When choosing materials to use for insect management, we always try to select the safest materials that do the best job. Nutrient issues play a vital role in the health of trees and shrubs and we use custom liquid injections tailored to the needs of the specific tree or shrub.
