General Info

Craig SZADO. Head instructor PITCHING/HITTING/DEFENSE coming from NEW England. Craig has learned the importance of giving back to the community HE is from. Craig graduated from monson high school in 1997 and went on to major in exercise science AT the university of Massachusetts Amherst. While attending umass Craig was a 3 year starter on the mound for the minutemen helping them WIN 3 Atlantic 10 regular season championships. In 1999 Craig finished 9TH in the Atlantic 10 in ERA and strike outs. In the summer of that same year Craig played in the prestigious cape COD league for the Brewster white caps finishing with a 2.73 ERA. After HIS Senior year Craig received the Dennis della PIANA award from the university for sportsmanship. Determination and courage. In 2001 Craig signed with the Chicago white SOX. During the 2001 season Craig finished 9TH in the Appalachian league in ERA while leading the team in strike outs. After a career in professional baseball with the SOX HE returned home and started working with the youth in the western Massachusetts area. With the goal in mind of linking todays youth in NEW England with current and past professional players AS well AS current college players Craig and HIS wife sara went on to start NE elite. NE elite specializes in camps. Clinics. Lessons and aligning todays youth with past and future stars. It remains HIS vision to teach baseball players of ALL ages for years to come.
